My son is 10 and is getting this scooter for Christmas. My sister's 3 kids already have the same model, except mine comes with the optional seat (which my sister wishes she had). My family has ridden her scooters and we love them. I chose this model so that my older son and I could also ride it, as the max weight limit is higher than some of the other models.

this was purchased as a Christmas gift so it has not been opened to inspect contents- I am worried because the box containing the product looks like it has been throw around and there is even a small hole where the box was impaled. Hopefully the contents are ok. Otherwise, the service was very fast getting the scooter to my home.

This scooter was a bit higher quality than I was expecting. I only wish it had more throttle control. Other than that it is just what we wanted...my husband uses it to bop up and down the docks at our marina. He has really bad knees and can't do that much walking, but no way was he ready for one of those "old timers scooters"; this one fits him... now he's able to get out and he really enjoys it...and all the other guys want one too!

Good for near level terrain.

The scooter is good for <100 lbers or near level terrain for the rated weight. My main criticism is the shipping container. The shipping box's built in handles are not of sufficient strength to support the 60 lb scooter inside. The first shipment arrived with the handles ripped out, the box ripped nearly in half and the scooter damaged beyond repair from being dropped on it's tail. The second shipment arrived with one handle ripped out of the box, and the rear fender scratched, but not broken. I wasn't about to lug this second one to the post office and decided to accept the scratches. Too bad these are not sold in the store where shipping and handling can be observed before purchase.

An empty bag of Cheetos in the scooter box!

The box I received was not taped and holes on the side. When I opened the box, there was an empty bag of Cheetos in it! The wheels had dirt on them. It was obviously an open box item that was not properly repackaged. My son, who had been waiting for the electric scooter as his birthday present, was very disappointed to learn that he wouldn't be able to ride it because we had to return it.

Great product at a great price. Only took ten minutes to put together.
Only concern is that box product was shipped to me in was badly crushed and torn. Item had a small scratch but could have been much worst.
Recommend they use better boxes. item is to heavy for such light packing.

After reading many reviews and looking at the Razor 4.5 (which had a smaller weight limit), and looking at the E300s, I decided to go with this for stability and age progression. My child has tourettes disorder and cannot ride a bike as he has difficulty with balance and motor coordination. I figured with the seat he would learn. OMG he didn't do well at first but after he got the hang of balance and speed control he loved it! Now my son is 180 lbs and 6'. He looks kind of silly on the pink scooter but I have never seen someone so happy. He can sit on it and ride down the driveway, coming back is difficult because it doesn't have the motor to make it go fast if you use your feet you can kind of "help it " along. My husband says its a scooter, it should be pushed once in a while anyway. Whatever for the money and the idea that down the road I can take the seat off and it can be ridden up to 220 lbs, I think this was a good deal. My husband and daughter and myself have rode it all over and it is alot of fun. I recommend this but beware on going up hills.

Oh my god!! This is great!! I highly recommend it!! It has a fair battery power, with a super-cool shiny pink color with a soft seat! It is easy to use, very safe and it is not as hard as it looks. It rides so smoothly and it lasts a long time--you just gotta take care of it. All your friends will be so jealous! They will ask to ride it all the time. Make sure you and your friends know how to ride a bike- because you need to learn how to balance! Razor has done it this time! This scooter is very great and you should try it. I mean you MUST try it. Ha ha, this scooter rocks, and it is so fast and triple fun! Thanks Razor! :))

I love this scooter! I'm thirteen and got this for christmas. i dont use the seat, its sorta awkward. i would get this one because of the big size and speed. the only downfall is the battery. It will get slower if its reached the battery life of 45 min. It doesnt seem that long of a charge but overall its fine. It goes fast, i wouldnt reccomend to anyone under 11. its seriously big. Love it, great scooter.

Fun ride while it lasted...

Fully charged the battery per the instructions, Took it out for a ride and the battery only lasted 24 minutes!!!! My 12 year old was deeply disappointed. While her little sister's Suzuki electric four wheeler was still going strong almost an hour later she was stuck on the sideline upset. It does however have a smooth ride which was quite enjoyable while it lasted. I do believe I will be returning it and spend more money on something better....
