This ruler is exceptional at saving you time in cutting strips fast for quilting. I would highly recommend this ruler to quilters. Also, making bias/binding tape is a snap with this little gem! Excellent tool!

I have been frustrated for months by the limits of my 12" shape cut rotary cutting tool, as I cut a lot of 3.5" strips and other shapes; being able to cut an extra two shapes before moving the tool is more efficient, and satisfies my yen for easier.
The price was also very good, as I priced it for $11 more even with taxes and shipping, at a local store, and it even beat all the other internet prices. (I didn't get their shipping rates.) Delivery was fast and efficient.
I've already passed word of the bargain to friends who could use it.

I have used this to cut about 12 yrds of fabric now and have found that it is easy to use, and helps me to cut more accuratly. When you first start make sure to take your time, don't shift tool as you move your anchor hand. Keep rotary cutter straight in groove, or you will have a slightly crooked cut. If you are carefull you can zip through a lot of fabric very quickly with very neat results!

This is a must have item for cutting fabric. It's so hard to cut a straight line but with the cut grids it is so easy! My rotary cutter glides in the grids for a perfect cut. I also want to buy the smaller sizes as well.
Walmart pricing on this item was one of the lowest I've seen on the Shape Cut Plus. I'm very happy with my new best sewing tool.

This is a fast and easy way to cut accuarate strips for patchwork quilting. Cuts them easliy. No need to be constantly moving the ruler for whole and 1/2 inch increments. You do need to move slightly for 1/4" increments as you need to line the cut edge up to the 1/4" mark after cutting your size. I don't know how I went so long without this ruler! Walmart sells for a great price too. Even on sale at other stores, Walmart's price is still cheaper.

Great for multiple cuts

For a typical 44" width of fabric, you'll need to fold the fabric in fourths. This is not a problem with a non-dull rotary blade. The guide keeps your line straight, which is great for multiple cuts (where before I had to often re-trim to get it parallel again). I love that I don't have to move and line-up my straight edge for each new cut. Cutting spaces are 1/2 inch apart, but there is a 1/4" guide between 0" & 0.5" so you can make all your cuts by repositioning only once.
Walmart's price of $25 was easily the best price I could find. Plus for only 97 cents, they shipped it to me and saved me a trip (it's an hour to my nearest Walmart)!
Look for videos on youtube.com for how to properly fold your fabric for perfect cuts, so you don't get "v" strips.

I bought this item after reading about it on an online quilting forum. The ladies there really liked it, so I thought I would give it a try as well. I am sold on it now that I have! Easy to use and no more crooked strips in my quilts! Walmart's price was the best I found anywhere, and as any quilter knows the more you save on one thing the more fabric you can put in your stash!
