This chest looks really nice, however if you're looking for a nice cedar chest, with a nice cedar smell this chest is not the one for you. There is a thin, and I mean very thin sheet of cedar glued to the inside of this chest. I had to buy cedar oil and rub it all over the inside. Fairly sturdy, I am a 270 lb man and I can sit on it without worry.. But Overall I wouldn't buy it again, especially for the price.
