More than meets the eye

This being my first online furniture purchase I have little to base my expectations other than perceived ideas.
I was hesitant to purchase a major piece of furniture online with out first viewing it. I am a stickler for eye appeal and quality. I would hate to receive something that looks great in a picture and then is less appealing in person. I have to admit, I was not disappointed with this.
When it arrived, it was in two boxes, fully assembled and well packaged. The quality was great. While the wood is not a solid natural it has a wonderful finish that with the weight of the composite makes it almost impossible to tell the difference.
The quality slate insets and the nice recessed hinges are a very good quality and make for an excellent piece of furniture. The drawers of of a dovetail cut not ball bearing which is the only fault I can find.
I have to give this a 9.5/10 and now will consider mail order for furniture purchases.
