This Dirt Devil handvac works very well when using the main brush, but the hose "attachment" is a disappointment. Very little suction, and it's hard to fit into crevices. I ordered the "wand" separately, thinking this would be flat and narrow at the end, but it's the same as the hose. I still like this - it's great for things like stairs - but not so much for cleaning out your car.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOGER. THE ROTOR BRUSH DOES NOT REALLY ROTATE, BUT JUST SITS THERE FOR SHOW. IT IS NOT BELT DRIVEN.

I had this vacuum for many many years... it finally gave out.
I tried others but now I am buying this one again. It does a wonderful job
on cat hair, has a bag which prevents the dust problem., Is much more powerful
than any battery powered rechargeable hand vac and it has a hose/nozzle to get
into chair cushions that others can't. Can't be beat.

Love this product alsoe all dirt devil products. Have carpeting on 3 stair cases. Picks up all dirt items - do not have to clean often because of power of the dirt item.

It is loud compared to the older model I had or maybe it is just this one. The hose section does not have good suction, so therefore that is of no use to me. But the main sweeper works good. I have pets, so with the main sweeper working good that is what counts. Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably, if they really needed one for the same reason as me, this does do the job. This is belt driven which is what gives it power. Air powered ones which I have used are useless.

Love this product . Very powerful. Best hand held vac I've ever had. However I could not get replacement bags @my local Wal Mart but did find them at an appliance repair shop and they are not expensive.

I had one of these for many, many years, it finally gave up. Replacing it with the same brand was a no brainer! This is an amazing little hand held vac, cleans the steps really good and gets into the crevices that a larger vac will not do.

I have a very old Dirt Devil and I love it. When my daughter was asking for things for Christmas, she mentioned that she needs a small vac to get the dog hair out of the carpeted stairs. I knew right away what to get her. The beater brush really does the job. The day after Christmas she called me and said that she loves it and it really picked the dog hair up.

I purchased this to pick up pet hair off of furniture. I was a little skeptical at first but it has proved to be a great item. It has plenty of power to pick up the fine hair from cats and dogs and the small hose on the side is helpful to get around the baseboards. I use it daily and LOVE it.

This unit appealed to me because of the rotating brush, the chord power, the use of real vac bags, and the attached crevice tool. It performs well, but being a Dirt Devil fan and using many of their products, it does not perform as well as expected or as well as my upright. I use this for cleaning cars and for cleaning my carpeted stairs.

I just needed a hand vac with a hose to replace the Dirt Devil hand vac that died. I had it for many years and it was great! So when I saw this one, I immediately ordered it.
It was the worse piece of junk I have ever purchased. Very cheaply made, didn't have any suction and I couldn't bring it back to Walmart fast enought.
I can't imagine what anyone could use this for.

I bought this hand vac after looking online & in stores, and it was the only one with a brush, good balance & good price. The hose suction isn't as strong as it could be, but the brush itself gets into the corners of my stairs, getting the cat hair, which is why I bought this item. It uses a bag, which I like for no dust in the air, yay.

This little devil is a work horse! My first was given to me by a close friend. I use it primarily to clean my truck out. My dogs hair are all over the place but this vac sucks them right up....the rotating brush and great suction power awork great and the little hose attachment gets the hard to reach spots. The price at walmart was a lot lower than other stores. Under $30....Oh, by the way my other one's handle broke when dropped by a friend. So I replaced it with the same.

I owned this Dirt Devil handheld vac years before. Loved it but it got stolen off my porch when I was moving. Finally, Dirt Devil was a must have, finally ordered it. Love the update with being able to use the hose and crevice tool without removing the belt like the old one. This is something I never want to be without again. Even found a great deal for 10 vac bags to go with it. Order it.....you won't be sorry, you'll wonder how you cleaned without it. I would give it 10 stars but it only goes to 5. Thanks Walmart for getting it to me so fast! :)
