Gift your child the Schwinn Easy Steer Trike so that he can experience his first bike ride in style. It is an ideal bike for your kid to try out riding independently or maybe with a little help from you initially. It comes with a high-back saddle and three-point belt provided for ensuring your child's safety. Its stylish and ergonomic design with push and steer handles for parental control will allow your kid to ride this kid's trike bike safely with complete confidence. The wide EVA tires on enclosed wheels for the easy-steer tricycle are stylish yet durable. It features a rear gravity-lock dump bin and a front basket that provides extra storage for keeping his toys and supplies.
He is a tall 2yr old, so the pedals are OK. Family outing to the museum was first adventure. He liked riding and having Mom Or Dad push. I'm sure he will be pedaling soon. Bd'y gift shipped directly to his home, Dad assembled and arrived on time.
I found the convenience of shopping on line, and Mom & Dad reviewed tricycle before purchase.

The shipping is good, but quality of this trike is not very satisfied, when I used it the second time, the noise comes form the front wheel and the bottom of rear control steer. If there is a brake at the rear wheel,it will be helpful for the parents to control the trike.

The Trike was easy to put together and my 2 year old daughter loves it and wants to ride everyday. After a couple of uses, the wheels squeaked a bit while riding but a little grease on the bearings easily fixed the problem.

This trike was about 40% cheaper at walmart than other places I have seen it. My son is almost 2 and enjoying this trike. You have to be careful though when the child turns the wheel of the trike, the handle you hold turns very quickly. Since that handle is made of a very thin plastic I am sure it will eventually break (a friend of mine has the same trike and her handle broke due to this). The seat belt is great but one side always opens. I am not sure if it is a defect, or my son somehow manage to ruin it, but he knows how to move so that side pops open (the other side holds fast no matter what he does). I am always careful to make sure I hear the clicking noise when I close it, so I know that I closed it properly and it is secure. But now that my son knows it has a weakness he is constantly making it so that the trike unbuckles on that side (then he climbs out).
All in all there are few issues but the trike is a good trike. The issues that have arose won't effect the overall use of the trike when he gets a little bigger, and I really like the fact that the handle controls the handle bars, which makes it completely easy to walk with.

Looks good, lots of extras, steers good for the parent, fairly easy to assemble. Just a bit too big for a two year old to reach the pedals, but will grow into it in a month.

I bought this for my 2 yr old Grandson's 2nd birthday. He was thrilled! It is easy to steer from behind. He hates the stroller but loves this. He can not reach the peddles but his feet rest on the pegs and he feels like he is doing the driving. This is a perfect trike that will grow with him. Kudo's to Shwinn.

The assembly was easy with the exception of the foot rest. I have problems with the steering wheel coming loose it needs constant tightening. The pedals squeak when your child uses the foot rest and the wheels are wabbly. I chose this bike because I trusted the name schwinn, not impresed!

I found a video on u-tube and easily assembled it. The issue was with the bolt and nuts though....not easy to secure. The threads are not so smooth and so better bolts and nuts or spare ones may need to be added to these products. Otherwise it's a solid trike and my kid love its.

The tricycle functioned as it was supposed to- it steers well from the rear bar and had a pretty smooth ride, but there were some quality issues that I would be concerned about. 1. Putting it together was a frustrating experience- the two screws that were supposed to screw the seat onto the base were defective, we had to purchase new ones ourselves. 2. From the moment that we started using the tricycle, it was incredibly squeaky. 3. The day after our first use, the wheels already looked fairly worn and the 'treads' on the plastic tires were no longer there. 4. The plastic basket at the rear of the bike seems fairly flimsy and is only held on with 2 screws so it tilts back and forth easily.

I didnt even get receipt for what I paid for. I am about to return it to the closest store. When I tried to assemble it, there is no enough document that help me to assemble plus there is no temporary screw driver or what I use to assemble it. I will not buy anything from Walmart online. I like Walmart but this online service is so annoying. I hope I dont hate Walmart but it is a complement and self feeling. I hope this issue get fixed in the future

Bought for my 2 year old. He loves it. Sturdy frame although tires are just shy of cheap. It squeaks alot. But sturdy overall for the price. Only real complaint is parental steering handle is flimsy and if your child steers against you (which they WILL, it puts the alignment out of whack. Overall I would recommend this trike over the Lil Tikes brand that I almost bought. This is much better quality and about $30 cheaper.

I thought the price was exceptional, compared to other trikes, but should have known that meant something,....in this case, not that less is more. The appearance of the trike is great, however the one we received, has a terrible squeak in the wheels, when ridden on a smooth asphalt surface. It is not used in grass or on rough terrain. We purchased it for use in a children's hospital, as we're usually there most of the day carrying a 29 Lb. 2 yr old. Push trikes are often seen being used in this hospital, so we felt this would be a fun thing for our grandchild, plus relieving his mom and dad from carrying him. The shaft for steering, is weak in structure, as well. Our grandchild loves riding on the trike, but I don't think it will last a couple of years as I had hoped. I would recommend it only if the cost of buying one, is limited. Of course it depends on how much you expect to use it too. In our case, being at the children's hospital is pretty much once a month, most all day long. Schwinn does make a beautiful little trike. I only wish it were more sturdy and minus the terrible squeak. My son used lithium grease on the wheel, hoping this will cure the noise.

Not as durable, but easy to assemble. On our first ride started to squeak, but my husband greased it and that seemed to work. The bolts on the seat are somewhat raised when screwed, which could damage child's clothing. Overall it is ok for the money, but would not recommend.

My son wanted a Trike since last year! but at 1 and half, I decided to wait until this Spring/Summer now that he is 2 and a half he can enjoy it more and have great success on it! He loves it and we added a bell and at the end of the night all he talks about is his shinny red trike! It is so cute the adventures he likes to pretend he is on while on the bike! Wow! I'm happy and this is great Gross Motor Control development, too!

We love the tricycle! My child don't want to get off. He wants to ride outside and in the house. His feet reaches the peddles and we are teaching him how to ride. But until he learn, I love that we are able to push and steer him so easily. And he has not turned over even though he is a little over-weight. Great product to buy!

Very disappointed on how much PLASTIC there was. Steel frame but thats it. Does steer Nice. Never could get the seat bolts to tighten tight. Was to pass this to next child but don't think it will make it. For the price could of made Tires heavier and baskets thicker.
