I am a penny-pincher ... and do not normally buy "big name brands" ... but this one is worth the money. Your scalp feels great after a shampoo and your hair looks great! This is one case where trying a sample sold me on the product!

I'm growing my hair out long for my wedding, and I had been using salon shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair healthy. However, I was getting tired of the same product, so I wanted to try something new.
This conditioner works even better than the Redken conditioner I have been using. After using the Root Awakening shampoo, my hair is so moist and fine that I barely have to use any conditioner at all (And I have a lot of hair!).
The smell is amazing, and the root awakening products are great. It's a bit pricey, but for these results, I'd be glad to dish out the money.

I've used many products for my dry, lackluster, and multiple split-end hair, but nothing nearly as wonderful! As you lather it into your scalp the calming minty scent will slowly wake you up, leaving one feeling happy and refreshed. I teamed this conditioner with the Brilliant Brunette Shampoo and Frizz Ease Hair Serum and each day can't help but notice the improvement! The trio has caused my hair to become soft, almost completely frizz-free, shiny (in a non-greasy, healthy way), rich in color, strong, and I have half as many split ends! And, it's only been one week! Can't wait to see how much it'll improve in another few days!

I absolutely love this line of John Frieda products! I am always looking for the next best products that really work and when I came across this one about 8 months ago, I was hesitant of the price & size....but purchased anyway. I have been using the Strength Restoring Shampoo/Conditioner and my hair(which is a multiracial mix) has had less breakage & become so soft, shiny, stronger and longer!!
