IMAGE BURN IN
01/03/2010
I purchased the 46 inch version of this product 16 months ago. I had read that LCD TV's are not supposed to experience image burn in. When watching my TV some of my cable channels put black bars on the sides of the screen to adjust the image to be square. These black bars have left faint but obvious vertical lines on my TV set on both sides about 4 inches in. My TV is out of warranty and even if it were still under warranty, Visio does not cover image burn in. Cheap TV. I am very upset and will never buy this brand again. Who wants to spend $1200 on a TV just to have the image permanently destroyed after only 16 months of intermittent use with no product recourse. The TV was not left on for more than 12 hours at a time and the research that I performed said that LCD TV's do not have this image burn in issue - WRONG.

Amazing TV for a GREAT price!
09/18/2009
as soon as I opened the box, I knew this was a GREAT buy as this LCD TV is beautiful even when it's turned off. It's very classy and has an elegant look that makes it look like it's worth twice the price! It has plenty inputs for every type of component you want to connect to it. There's 4 HDMI connections! The picture is amazing! That's with an HD cable input source and also with regular DVDs and also with Blu-Ray DVDs! Some of my friends have the other big name-more expensive brand LCD TVs and this Vizio's picture rivals them. The remote control is also a BIG step up from the usual remotes. It illuminates when the buttons are depressed and it has has a very classy look to it! There's crome, satin, and glossy black detail to it!
I absolutly recommend this TV. You get a heck of an awesome TV for a much lower price tag!!

Good TV
03/16/2010
I bought this product not really knowing what to expect but so far, I have come to like it. In fact I spend a lot of time in the house watching TV! It has great picture qualityand the sound is just perfect. I like the fact that i can connect it to my computer if there is need for that. This is TV is worth all that I spent on it.

Great TV value
03/10/2010
East to set up and install. Good instructions.
For the best picture it needs an HD source, otherwise the image is OK. The HD image is fantastic and there is a great range of adjustments to the picture and sound. I barely move the volume control and it gets quite loud ad the sound is clear. I had to reduce the brightness and backlight to reduce overall image brightness to suit me. Other reviews complain about the Vizio light on the front. Does not bother me. I put the center surround speaker in front of it anyway.
Remote has an array of options to change inputs, picture size and adjustments, although I use my cable box remote for most functions.
I was concerned about the angle of view in some reviews, but does not seem to be a big problem.
For price and features I think this is a great value.

simply AWESOME!

Beautiful picture, great size, good asst. of features, even the sound is very good for a TV. The best piece of advice I can give, DON'T SKIMP ON THE CABLES. Monster, rocketfish, etc...They make all the difference.

Great TV

The sound quality is average but we use our Dolby system so it's not a big problem. Great value for the money, great picture, and no glare.

huge tv
12/09/2009
TOOK TOO LONG to get this product. Website says 7 days from order to the store. It was 3 WEEKS! Had I known this I would have bought it from a TV dealer.
Set up was difficult for my age group. Not much difference between Zoom 1 and Zoom 2 and panaromic. It is a very clear bright TV and I am sure we will enjoy it, however, I am not certain replacing my 36" Sony with this 1200.00 tv was worth the difference in the price.
Hubby wanted to pair this tv with a new surround sound system, but I would have just as soon stayed with what I had and been 2,000 $ a head.
Grandson loves it, says it looks like we are in a talk show - guess it is the HD makes shows look 3D.

Killer T.V.
02/15/2010
I absoluty love this T.V., had a Sony 50" before and thought it was good untill I turned this one on the vizio Is far suppier, It even blows the Samsung's away at work. The picture almost looks 3-D it is unreal. I went to the movies last night and couldn't help but notice how much better the picture quality was at my house I will just save my money and stay home from now on. And as far as sound quality goes I have a 1000 watt surround sound I always use with the T.V. and For the first couple of days I din't realize that it wasn't hooked up and I couldn't tell a bit of diffrence. After two months of research I could't be happier. Two thumbs way up!!
