I expected it would be tall and skinny and it is definitely skinny. (I'm a fan of trees with a more full look.) It was quick and simple to put it together. But fanning the branches was a challenge due to the lights being in the way. Sometimes, when the lighting is right, the tree looks black. But, it mostly looks deep, deep green. None of my friends noticed it was a black tree. So, against a white background it may look black, but in my home it doesn't. Overall, I'm satisfied. Merry Christmas!!!

Fell in love with this tree the minute I saw it. So happy to be able to buy on line and have delivered straight to my home. The tree is gorgeous and while the black color is not obvious in the dim tree light, the black provides a unique and luxe background for the glam decorations. Easy assembly.

Love the color of it. Will probably use it on my porch or kitchen as extra tree. The cool thing about the color is you probably can decorate it for other holidays such as halloween or valentine's day.

I did not have the money to purchase a very high quality tree. This one would be perfect if it was a little bit bigger in width. The quality is good, it is well worth the money. It would fit perfect in a small corner or apartment.

i must say i'm very pleased with my choice. i got lucky and saw the price drop down to $40 one day and that's when i bought it. i would've been willing to pay the $68, but hey - who turns down a deal?!
just like any other tree, the branches need to be fluffed out, but it's absolutely beautiful once done. i searched every where else online for a black tree and walmart was the only place with a nice tree, at a really great price.
i would recommend this tree to anyone!

This is exactly what I wanted; I had seen a similar black tree on an online tree shopping site for more than twice as much. Me and my two kids are very happy with this tree, it looks so modern and matches well with our decor. The color makes all the ornaments pop against it; looks especially nice with lots of white and silver ornaments.

I saw this tree in the store and thought it was very unique looking. Purchased it on walmart.com for a lot cheaper than it was in the store. The tree is compact and extremely easy to assemble. Aside from the stand, there are only three pieces to connect together. Because if the compact size, it appears fuller than some of the larger trees I looked at. The tree is absolutely beautiful and I have gotten so many compliments on it! There are no options for flashing lights or steady on. That is the only thing I would change about it and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. A great tree for the price though.

Love, love, love this tree! The only problem with it was that one section of lights did not light when we put it together. After checking/tightening each bulb in the unlit section we found the short and all is well.
This black tree is the perfect backdrop for our Pittsburgh Steelers decorations. GO STEELERS!

We have this tree in our dark media/playroom, which has deep brown walls and black trim. This black tree fits in perfectly with this color-scheme much better than a green tree ever could. The tree makes a statement and is just plain fun (the kids have covered it in Star Wars toys and ornaments)!

The black tree is wonderful. My daughter is doing a Jananese tree and with the white lights and deep contrast of the black against her red orniments it is a beauty. I found the tree was not as full as I would like so I got feather boas to wind around the stem part to hide it and give a thick look. Not having to put lights on it was great to POP up and go with the theme.

I expected this tree to be tiny and hard to put together. The three pieces snapped together quickly and it was much easier than any other artificial tree I have ever bought. Branches needed fluffing like any other artifical, but I was pleasantly shocked at how big the tree actually looked once all was said and done. For only $40 this is just a great deal. I have included a photo to show how well our tree looked once put together.

This tree is perfect if you're into an unconventional Christmas, or just looking to shake things up. Unfortunately, you do have to fluff up the branches to cover up the fact that each limb comes out of a stick. Since The tree itself comes in three parts though, it is extremely easy to set up. Just make sure when you put the base together, that each of the four triangles snaps into place, you'll hear it. Otherwise, you'll have a lopsided tree.
