My Grandson is 17 mths old and loved going to bed every night with the music that plays from his Leap Frog Pal. I loved it so much I bought it for my neice. What is nice is the you can play nighty night music for 2 min, 5 min or 10 minuntes depending on how tired your child it. I love that you can personalize it for each child.

My daughter is 2 months old and just smiles when I make Violet talk. The only complaint I have is that Violet says her name so awkwardly, but it's not that big of a deal. Just wish it flowed more instead of being so sharp and short with my daughters name. I also wish Scout and Violet had different voices, like a girls voice and a boys voice, but they are the same voice, but also no big deal.

I got this for my nieces 1st birthday and she fell in love with it. It was easy and easy to program her. Her bedtime music is excellent for putting a little one to bed, and songs are wonderful if you have a dancing baby. It is educational and I would recommend it to anyone.

We bought this for my daughter when she was around one year and she has slept with it from day one. I love how you can program what it says and the songs. I like to change it for the different seasons and holidays. We now have the Twinkle Twinkle Little Violet as well which makes a great addition for travelling.

I bought this for my daughter when she turned 5 weeks old. It was as big as she was. The lullaby music soothed her cries and now at 4 months old she is learning to press Violets paws. Whenever I take Violet out there is nothing but smiles on my daughters face.

I just got this for my daughter (and she's only 6 months) and she LOVES it! It's so cute. It sings song w/ the child's name and another with the child's name, favorite color, favorite animal, and favorite food! It's also pretty soft for being an electronic toy. I recommend it.

I purchased Violet for Christmas for my second granddaughter who is now nine months old--and she loves it. When she was born, I got her the baby version of Violet to help her go to sleep. I purchased Scout (Violet's pal) for my first granddaughter as an infant--it is one of her favorite bedtime pals. She is now three years old and still loves Scout. Violet and Scout are durable and can be personalized by using your computer. Both deserve excellent ratings.

My daughter loves it. It sings, says her name, and lights up. It's nice that you can customize it on the computer. Wish it had more games and features. Otherwise very simple toy, and still soft. The battery compartment in back can be a pain to put back in, but surprisingly the velcro works very well.

I really like the LeapFrog My Pal Violet. My two year daughter loves it. The overall toy is really nice the only thing that I didn't like was not having more options for the songs and learning activities that you can download on the puppy. I like that it teaches your child how to spell their name, the colors and how to count to five (my daughter already knows how to count to 12 accurately) but I was expecting to be able to download more options for her own personal learning.

I Bought this for my 4yr old daughter for Christmas She loves it, It says and sings her name very clear she sings along with it, it was easy to just plug in to the computer and download songs and set it up, it doesn't take a computer wiz to do so, I would highly recommend it, My daughter is already singing new songs and spelling her name better due to this product!!!

My Pal Violet is fantastic! This toy is so smart! My daughter Hayli loves that the puppy knows her name, her favorite color, her favorite food, and her favorite animal! I was worried that it wouldn't know her name because of the way it's spelled, but not only does it say her name there is a song where the puppy spells her name! Adorable! And the lullaby setting is MY favorite part. It plays for 2,5, or 10 minutes and always helps my daughter sleep. I really liked that I could choose what songs I wanted to have played. 5 stars and I'm heading out to buy Scout for my best friends son!

I bought this for my 14 month-old daughter, and I'm so glad. The download takes about 5 minutes, and it walks you through every step. It previews several different pronunciations of your child's name to make sure you get the right one. I only wish you could put more than 15 songs on it, but it's great anyway! The volume level is perfect-my daughter is constantly pushing the paws, but you can still hear the t.v. or your conversation over it. My daughter and I both love this toy!
