I love this treadmill because it has weight loss & strength options so I rotate. I find the display hard to read. Also, if here is a 'pause' option, I can't find it.

Don't listen to the reviews.... Good machine for the price. Gets the job done. Easy to assemble if u can read. Only downfall is theres no back light ... But who cares just run.

I bought this treadmill on March 5th and the sensor is not working, so I called the company and after 65 minutes on hold they finally told me that they will send a technician around march 10, until now march 26 i am still waiting for the technician after 16 days after my complaint...so I decided to return my treadmill tomorrow march 27.

My review is based on the one I owned before the flood, this order they sent the wrong one. This treadmill is great I love the size of the track screen and all the info. it gives you on how many calories burned and the heart rate and all the other stuff. The fact you can get the mats with it is great originally I paid $ 488.00 and another $50.00 for the mats. So this is a Great deal from a year ago.

Tread mill is good for the money. The 1st couple of months it was real smooth. Now I'm in month 6 of using the tread mill and it works fine it's just really LOUD. The motor or something is going weird on this thing. Almost sounds like a leaf blower, I'm sure the warranty is up - lol. All in all it's great for the money and if your a good handy man who can fix stuff then maybe this for you. I"m going to have to call someone to look at this.

Took almost a month to get delivered. Once it was delivered putting it together was very easy, but it would not power up. Had to take apart to check connections, and they were all fine. Had to make 2 separate calls to Gold's customer servive and had a total wait time of 5 hours and 47 minutes combined. So, they either don't have enough people to handle calls, or they receive A LOT of calls for poor products. Once I did speak with someone they were not helpful, and wanted me to wait another 10-14 days for a replacement wire that I told them was not the problem. I now have to box this thing back up, and find a truck to haul it back to a Walmart. Not Happy!!

After 2 months of ownership the product kept skipping when you tried to jog. My husband almost fell and broke his neck twice. I would not recommend this product.

This is a great treadmill and my wife loves it! Assembling it took a while, but it was fairly easy to put together. I do recommend taking a truck and asking for help to load it in your vehicle because it's very heavy. As for quality, it's very well built. The display is kinda hard to read but I can live with it.

This is a good machine. It took me a little longer to set it up by myself. It runs quietly and fine for a month now.
One minor problem is that two small screws that came with the machine are missing and I have to get them in the local store. Although they do not cost me much, but it is a small trouble. I can tell that the panel of the setting up parts does not have the correct numbers of the nuts and bolts. Whoever that buys the machine will run into the same problem I have. So, Walmart needs to pay attention to that issue with this treadmill.

I did a lot of research before buying an "entry" level treadmill. Although a little more than I wanted to spend, I spent it, and two years later, it still works great. My wife uses it almost daily. She just walks, and enjoys the programs. I use it for jogging. She's about 110# and I'm 180#. It seems to flex a bit more when I use it, but it works and works good.

I did some research before buying this treadmill. It is definitely a great buy compared to others in this price range. The only things I don't like about it are no fan and they say you need to unplug it every time. They give a reason but it's a bother. It's not noisy and it doesn't bow when you're walking like some do.

This unit is very heavy and the box is large. Have it delivered to your house unless you have 2-3 friends and a truck to pick it up at the store. Same thing to assemble it, you CAN assemble it by yourself, but it's pretty heavy and an extra pair of hands will definately help!
Once you get it home and set up it's a pretty decent unit. It is good for average walking up to 4 MPH. If you weigh over 200 lbs, unless you put it on a concrete floor, running makes a lot of noise and shakes the house even if you use the optional foam floor pad. The display is difficult to read, it is a gray-scale type of read out, not red LED's. Notice the position of the hand rails. They are in the front of the unit, not along the sides like the commercial models found in a gym. This is important for people who may need to be steadied.

I got this as a new years present to myself since i thought it was fairly cheap. Thought i wouldn't be able to run on it b/c of the price but to my surprise, i think it works great! Ive been running on it for a month now and everything works properly and is very sturdy. A little bit loud but nothing the radio can't drown out.

Difficult to use with so many missing parts!

I was excited by this purchase - highly rated and priced right. I received the treadmill and began assembling it only to find after about an hour that numerous piece parts were missing. That was bad enough, but upon calling ICONservice, I was on hold for 1 hour, 1 minute, and 52 seconds before I had to terminate the call because I had other things to do on my day off. I ordered the parts online and after 24 hours of not receiving acknowledgement of receipt, I ordered them again with a note of dissatisfaction included. I finally received a note saying that the parts were being shipped. This all started 10 days ago and I have yet to see any parts. The machine sits idle in the room upstairs waiting to be used.
The service level of this company is pathetic! Unfortunately, that is consistent with service levels in most companies these days. Whatever happened to excellence in customer service in this country?

The Gold's Gym GG480 Treadmill is my first home treadmill, and so far I enjoy it everyday.
Pros: User friendly (with the displays), works smoothly, quiet machine, different speeds (the highest speed I have went so far is 4.5 which is fast for me), love the incline cause it goes up quickly and comes down quickly (highest I have gone is 9.0) many different compartments to place your water, iPod, dumbbells (I place the small 2lbs dumbbells that comes with the treadmill in the smaller section and my bigger ones at the bottom of the display, which holds it all perfectly), perfect for small spaces in room
Cons: Box is huge (beware if you get standard shipping the farthest the deliver man brings it is at the door, you have to bring it in on your own), Set-up was kind of difficult & heavy (must have at least 2 people putting the treadmill together)
