A classic 2D adventure, the game follows the style of New Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo DS. Princess Peach has been kidnapped by Bowser and its up to Mario to save her, but this time hes not alone! Up to four players can join in the fun at the same time, playing as Mario, Luigi or either one of two Toads. Jump, swim and fly through eight classically-themed worlds, with even more challenges awaiting the best players. New power-ups such as the Propeller Suit and Penguin Suit grant unique abilities to traverse levels and combat Koopas, and the return of Yoshi guarentees an enemy-gobbling good time for all. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is also the first Nintendo game to feature a dynamic help system, which allows you to access a mode which allows you to watch how a level can be completed if you are stuck.

game has mind of its own. Games is to easy to beat and main issue is it spins u when you do no shake the controller at times. outside that rest game is good..but a flop to someone that wants precision control over the arcade game they play. (Beat the game in less then 9 hours)

Our four children 12,10,8,5 work together as a team to capture all worlds. They cannot progress without each other's help. Great fun and teamwork. Keep your kids working together and they will see how much they need each other in every day life!
Addicting. Kids need a time limit. Wii must be shut down so kids will read and do their chores! Reward? Wii can be turned back on!

My daughter called and asked me if I had bought this game used. I told her it game from Wal-Mart.com and was NEW. She said some of the levels had already been played. How does this happen??? Very frustrating!!!

Great fun for a family

Im 31 and I very rarely play a video game. But I really enjoy playing this particular game with my husband and my two kids ( 3 and 5 yo) my daughter who is only three would play but most of the time she keeps dying while we continue to clear the course, its lots of laughs and fun when she does something silly, which usually doesn't affect the progress of the game unless she drag one of us into the fire or whatever killing.. But its funny when it happens anyway. Unlike Mario galaxy, this game can be played by four players and if one wants to just have a break they can do at anytime by pressing A button and the player will be in a bubble flying with his bros. Its not an easy game though its challenging but my 5 yo son and my husband are really good at it they cleared all the world and now trying to finish world 9. I just join for fun, Im rarely helpful :p. I would recommend it for all Mario fans and for families

This game is amazing! It came as a bundle with the Wii game system and right from the start, my brother, sister and I loved it. We bought two additional remotes so we could all play it together, (and are planning to get another for Christmas)! I'm still not very good at it (the fire in level 8 keeps killing me), but my siblings have completed the whole game twice and still enjoy playing it over again from the very begining. It is sometimes difficult, but not impossible, to get through levels, but it is a great game for all ages. Even my Mom and Grandma have tried playing it and really enjoyed it. There are some moves and hints not found in the user guide so you kind of get 'on the job training'. Make sure to watch the movies at Princess Peach's castle for extra tips.

My daughter received this game for her 9th birthday. She really enjoys playing. It challenges her and that is what I like about it. I feel this game is overpriced but I could not find it cheaper anywhere else.

This is the best guide I ever had. This guide shows everything in the book on if you had struggled with a level in the game this will work. I use it once in a while on some levels of the game. This is a must for starters and for someone that cannot get pass a level.

My family really enjoys this game. It allows four players to play at once making the game an awesome adventure. I played Mario when I was a child and it's nice to see my children getting the same enjoyment out of a game. My 5 year old uses a boss shell to cover the wii controller.

My 7 year old loves this game- He also recieved Mario Galaxy 2 and did not like it at all. This game is like the original just using the wii to play. So glad I got this one for him!
