I have to admit, I purchased this basketball as an outdoor toy for my lab/golden retriever. All other "large breed" toys he destroyed. I let a little air out of the ball and he loves it; carries it all around the yard. This is the second ball I've bought. The first one lasted over 3 years and he finally chewed a small hole in it, but still loves to play with it also. I know this may seem a little expensive for a dog toy, but when I add up all the toys that failed within a day or less, this ball is a bargain!
