I have read a lot of negative reviews on centon. so far I am having no trouble except it is VERY SLOW in transferring data.I have never had a flash drive this slow

As Stated: This is an Excellent product which I've been using from separate store's. These are easy to use, & holds photo's, document's w/O any problem's. I store very important pic's as well as document's. For the price> you can'T beat it. Work's also from PC to PC and able to make change's such as titles and item's can be deleted, or placed into different file's or folder's. For the price's of each size> You can'T beat it, and order's are received within just afew day's incmparison to other store's. Thanks WAL-Mart's.

I save large files to my computer and kept quickly running out of space. I bought this 16GB drive to transfer files off the computer whenever I needed to temporarily save space. It paid off in the long run. I haven't had the drive for a lengthy time yet but so far so good. Also there is a lifetime warranty on this brand so I couldn't go wrong with the purchase. This was a good deal at a great price. The only thing I found I didn't like was that the cap is completely detachable and I suspect I will lose it at some point. But this is a minor problem that I don't care about, considering all the other benefits.

I needed to backup a computer program that said it needed 9.05GB to save, so I bought the 16GB. This would not work at all. Waste of money..Thought, maybe a bad stick, but it did work when I d/loaded a small file that had only 3GB. Does not do what it said it would do..

got this to switch from win XP to win 7 loading every thing right up and put it right back in win 7

I have never used a data stick/flash drive before and purchased it so I could clean out my documents. I was able to transfer everything to this flash drive with ease. It is available online only, which is too bad. The Scan Disk brand is more expensive, but it is available at the store. I chose the Centon 16 BG because even with shipping, it was cheaper that the Scan Disk.

Is the size actually 16GB? I recently purchased a Toshiba @ Sam's that said it was a 16GB when its actual size was 14.4GB and it wasnt enough to make a recovery file for my computer.

This can not be USB 2.0. to transfer 6 gig of data this stick took over 2 hrs. I put in my PNY 16gig stick and did the same transfer, it took 3 minutes. What do you expect when it comes for free.
