The microfiber is SO soft and the color is a lovely neutral light beige, exactly what I wanted. I only have on "problem" with it - my nursery is a little tight for such a huge ottoman...once I got the slipcover on (after weeks of looking at the ottoman uncovered), I was sad to see how much of the legs got covered up - it made the ottoman look twice as big, which is just fine if you have the room, but now I think I am going to return the ottoman and just get a little airy step-stool with funky legs so the ottoman doesn't take over the world visually! But the color, fit and fabric are wonderbar.

You definitely need this for the chair! The ottoman makes it much easier to rock and it's totally worth it for the price!
Can't beat it! Love the color - we went with the natural beige color... it looks great in the room!
