My hubby had been having trouble sleeping on our 10 year old mattress, so I thought this might do the trick and we could put off buying a new mattress for another couple of years. Very fast delivery, and we took it out of the box and let it "rise" for a couple of days. It expanded to full height and we put it on the bed. No discernible odor. The topper is very comfortable - it took me a couple of nights to get used to it, but my husband fell in love with it the first night. Now we wouldn't do without it! We've had no problems with this topper and really like that it comes with its own cover. If you're looking for a short term solution to an uncomfortable mattress, I would encourage you to try this topper. It truly is well worth the money and then some.

I bought this last week and could not wait to try it out. This is half foam and half memory foam. The green is the memory and it only expanded in certain areas.. The regular foam did make the 2 inch. The memory foam was hard as rocks. I actually flipped it so I slept on the regular foam part and it was rather comfy, but that is too much to spend on regular foam.I do like a very soft mattress. I am returning. I am going to order from overstock now. The 5.5 Grande Hotel Collection. It costs a little more but has terrific reviews and they say it is very soft and comfy!!!

I have a 14 year old pillow top mattress, we needed a new mattress but couldn't afford one, we bought this 4 inch topper green size hoping that our aches and pains would go away....... And. They did it worked wonders I feel like I have a new Mattress. Our first thoughts. I loved it my boyfriend said it felt like he was laying on a bunch of clothes. After. The first. Night he loved it too. We not want to get up in the morning. I didn't have any problems with the smell I opened it up and left. It all day On top of the bed then put it in the case. We went and bought another one the 1.5 twin size and put it with the futon and our son said it is sooooo much better. I think this is money well spent.

I took the topper out of the box and was excited that there was no heavy chemical smell. I did everything as instructed and waited; the mattress never recovered. I purchased the queen size and where it was folded to package was outlined so bad there was no laying on it. It was higher on both sides in the folds. The mattress never settled. I lugged it back to Walmart and ordered the Spa Sensation topper as the one I purchased for my daughters twin bed came out the box and recovered perfectly. I wish I had taken photos to show!!!

The Canopy topper I purchased is actually 2 pieces, the memory foam and a quilted top to stretch over to secure to the bed. The quilted topper care instructions state it is machine wash and dry. Well, I machine washed it and the backing ripped apart and my washer was full of batting. What a disaster!! I don't have the receipt or paperwork any more or I would definitely take it back to WalMart for a refund. This is a BAD BAD product and I would never recommend anyone purchase it. I will never buy another Canopy product. I bought another memory foam topper at Kohl's at the same time and it has been washed and dried and the result was perfect.

Love Cannopy 4" Memory Foam !!!! I have bought the 4" memory foam by canopy for a King bed and a Queen bed I had lower back problems but never wake up with pain. In fact I sleep better than ever. I absolutely love it, and for the price you can't beat it. I have had 2 mattresses that were very hard and on both cases the memory foam made them better and softer. I also put it on a mattress that had a pillow top and it just made it even softer. I will never stay with just a regular mattress ever again any bed I sleep on will defiantly have the 4" memory foam. It never loses it's shape and still has never went flat, and I have had one of them for about 2 years.

Ok, we bought this topper and are simply astonished at its affects. The 1st time sleeping with the topper I woke up with absolutley NO back or neck pain. This was amazing!!!! I fell asleep fast and stayed asleep all through the night. I had no idea the sleeping problems I was having was simply an old lumpy pillow top mattress. Not to mention, me and my husband share a queen mattress, I'm small but he is 200+ lbs, so every time he would move I would feel it, plus his weight would make me roll in to the center. It was very frustrating. With this topper I could barely feel him move and I stayed in one spot all night. A good nights sleep can apparently be life changing. Now, I read that this mattress smelled, that was not a problem with the one we got, it had no odor at all. Also, some reviews complained about it not unfolding properly, we also did not have this problem. The instructions say to lay it out for 24hrs, and it was correct, 24hrs and it was at its full 4". It also only took us maybe 60 seconds to get it into the cover, again very easy, just lay the cover on the bed, then put the mattress on top of the cover, tuck in the corners and zip it up. I hope this helps, buying a topper vs. a new mattress $140 vs $1000+. Easy decision for us. Good luck

I am very happy that I purchased this mattress pad. It has made a world of difference with my husband and I's body aches and pains. It does sleep a little hot but other than that, I have no complaints. I have never slept so good! I also like the fact that it stays in place. Never have I had to readjust it. It does have a magic marker smell when you first open it up but it's not overwhelmingly unpleasant and goes away in a short time. I would recommend this mattress pad to anyone who needs relief from body aches and pains. It was well worth the money.

Couldn't believe the difference in my bed. This topper is so supportive it is wonderful. My back and hips were immediately less painful and I can get a good nights sleep, without being awakened in pain having to turn. It is outstanding! Highly reccomend it to anyone with pain in joints, or just someone who needs the support of a new mattress without the expense!

the center of the foam lost its resiliency in less than 3 months (I'm not overweight) :-); the company will not stand behind the product. unfortunately, we didn't take it back to the store within the 3 month period. we are out the purchase price.

I recently bought this mattress topper & I followed the directions to the letter. It said to lay mattress flat & wait 24 hours for it to regain its full shape. It's been five days & still has two sides that are still compressed. I wrote the company for help & waiting for a response. I told them I can't return the product to the store as I can't get the topper back into it's original package (box). I would like to return & order another as this problem might just be a fluke. I will update this review after I hear back from the company.

I purchased this for my husband who is on hospice and has a hospital bed. The difference it made was absolutely amazing.
You do have to read the fine print. The memory foam is only about 2 inches and then you have 2 inches of regular foam. You must also open the package and allow 24 hours for the topper to fully expand before using.
While not a cheap item, it is certainly an excellent product without having the expense of purchasing a brand new memory foam twin size mattress.
I am happy with my purchase and would recommend highly.

I bought this because of the price. I just love this product! It took three days for the Mattress to fully expand (just one corner needed to expand three more inches). There was no smell at all to it. I plan to purchase the 8" or thicker one when i get the money saved up. I also plan to go with the Memory Foam pillows. After sleeping on this i could never go back to sleeping on a regular Mattress. It is like sleeping on a cloud! It has helped my aches and pains alot also due to old age! I did not put the cover on because it seems softer with the cover off. I have not noticed any heat from it at all. But i run a fan in the bedroom at night to help me sleep, plus i use a light blanket.

Severe back injury in 1998 left me with excruciating pain that I still deal with daily. I was sleeping 90% of the time in my recliner because I could not lie down to sleep. My father in law bought a memory foam mattress for $900 and talked about how it relieved his pain, but being on disability with limited income that was out of my price range. In spring of 2012 I purchased the 4" queen size memory foam pad for $104 at the Campbellsville, Ky. Walmart. The pad did have a smell from being sealed in the plastic bag that went away in two days. Now I sleep 90% of the time in bed with minor back pain. My pain level in bed went from a 10 to a tolerable 3. After a few weeks sleeping on the pad I removed it and went back to the bare mattress and my pain went back to a 10 the first night, but I tried it like that for a week barely sleeping. Upon putting the pad back on, my pain was relieved the first night. My wife did not like it at first but now she wouldn't give it up. So what's the price of better sleep? Only you can determine what it is worth to you, but to me this is worth every penny spent. Read some of the other reviews about the sleep number bed which I thought about getting, but glad I didn't. This is the comfort that I need for a GREAT nights sleep.
