We were looking for a new mattress pad to use with our newborn son. The one we bought with the cradle was thin and flimsy and was curling when we put on a cradle sheet. After reading several reviews of several different pads, we went with this one and we're so glad we did. It fits in our cradle perfectly, is just the right about of structure and comfort, was a great deal at 97 cents shipping and it was nice to know that if it didn't work out for any reason, we could return it to a local store. You cannot miss with this one. It is a fantastic pad at a great price.

We bought this to go in our baby's cradle. The cradle came with a 1" mattress, but when I tried to put cradle sheets on, it folded up and was a pain, so hubby and I decided to buy this 2" one and see if it held the sheets better. It fit in the cradle perfectly and the sheets went on just right!! Our baby is due in a week, so we haven't used it for him yet. That is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars...
Overall, I think this was a great buy for the price, and just what we needed to fit our needs.

The mattress arrived in a timely manner - love "site to store"! It fits great in the cradle we are using. For the price, I feel like it is perfect for the first few months. It is all vinyl covered - one of the reviews I had read made it sound like it was soft, but it is not. That doesn't matter, the vinyl is easy to clean if needed and it will be covered with a mattress pad and sheet. The bassinet sheets I bought fit it just fine. I think they were the 18 x 36 size.

30+ years ago my father built a cradle for my children and now I needed to purchase a new mattress so they can use the cradle for their children (our grandchildren). I was excited when I could actually get a mattress to fit the cradle. This mattress wasn't anything fantastic or fancy but it fits!

I am a new mother and was lookin for a cradle mattress. After a long search threw much more expensive mattresses, I found this one. I ordered it on a Monday and received it on thursday the same week. My husband built a baby cradle for a friend and we needed the mattress pad for it. This was perfect. It is well built, no seams up to irritate a new baby. Nothing loose to irritate a baby. The pad is covered in a soft waterproof material, not the hard plastic like I expected. It just really fit out needs.

I thought I had ordered a mattress cover & not a mattress. However, when I got it, decided to keep it because it was so much nicer than the old mattress that was with the cradle. So much softer than the old hard one I had, and after all it was for my Granddaughter!

Looks like this mattress is going to work fine for our bassinet. It does look a little cheap but I think it will work for the few months that she's in it. The only real complaint I have was the poor job they did shipping it. Instead of putting it in a longer flatter box, they folded it in half and stuck it in a square box. So now there is a big crease/indentation on the mattress. Hopefully it flattens out.

Ordered this after realizing the mattress that came with my cradle was inadequate. (Cheap, thin)
This came in as expected and it was delivered timely. It was cheaper than Amazon. Would absolutely order from Walmart again. (I shop 80% online for clothes, home and baby items.)

This mattress is perfect for what we needed. We have an (almost) 18 x 36 inch cradle and were having a hard time finding an affordable, fitted mattress for it. I am so thankful to have found this high-quality and affordable pad--about two inches thick, and definitely water-resistant! It is soft, so if you had a little bit smaller cradle, the mattress would still squeeze in there.

I bought this to replace a used pad that had come with my cradle when giving it to a friend to use, who is expecting. I believe that for the money it's excellent quality, especially when you compare it to sites that sell similar items. The mattress is thicker than the usual pads you get with products and is still firm enough that you don't have to worry about your newborn rolling over.
