We were wanting something a little more bold. This is it. Started out mixing it half and half with the classic now we use it full strength. The reason I gave the value a 3 is cause I am not happy with the price of coffee overall!

i am opening tomorrow for some reason the silk has been extremly weak, my caregiver, neighbor we all agree so i know its not me, no matter how much you use, (my last container) i did contact folgers in prcess of sending info stock #'s etc.
something definatly happened at factory/ or cut down taste like water no matter how much u use. will keep u updated. FoLGERS is the best i will recommend still!

i drink ALOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT of coffee!
atleast 12cups before noon everyday, and thats french roast or "extra bold" types.
to make this coffee I use about 15cups worth of grounds for 10 to 12cups of water.
i like coffee strong enough to walk around on its own.
but with black silk its strong enough to make it "normal"
most the time i'll use 5lbs of coffee in under a month, with black silk i can stretch two(2) 27.8oz containers(55.6oz) into a month.

Excellent flavor, and keeps your energy up. Had to cut back on how much I was using in the percolater. Delicious! But, hate the "NEW" smaller 27oz containers. And that everyone is moving to smaller sizes and keeping the same price as before or even raising it. We consumers DO NOTICE THIS!!!! Still love the coffee!

I prefer Folger's Columbian blend, but it's so expensive now and never goes on sale. I tried the Black Silk because it's supposed to be a darker blend than the Columbian blend. However, I found that I had to use more scoops to get the same strength as the Columbian blend. Of course, this means that it gets used up faster, but the cost is still less expensive than the Columbian. If the Black Silk stays in the free to home category, I will continue to buy it.

I love the aroma, the dark flavor, and the appearance of Folgers Black Silk Coffee. So easy to make. Always tastes just right. Gives your home a coffee house feel. Plus, it makes one feel "perky", too! Definitely keeps you awake. Take it to work! I love it so much I created a Folgers Tower!
