I was somewhat surprised to see the great quality of this mattress pad. Considering the price, I wasn't expecting a lot. It is a good thickness and the sides are long enough to fit under my mattress. The elastic is strong enough to hold the mattress pad on the bed.

The mattress pad did not fit because I have a double pillow top and nothing fits it. The shipping took way to long though, but the price being so good you can't beat that. Good experience.

This product claims it fits up to a 15" mattress, however it would at most fit a 13" mattress. This may work fine for regular mattresses, but doesn't help when you actually have a 15" mattress. What makes it even worse is that the skirt is so thin that just trying to pull it down over the mattress tore the material (and with very little force). Even if it did fit the mattress, I would find it very hard to believe that this mattress pad would last very long.

The top of the mattress pad is built well. But the sides feel and are about as strong as paper. One was either torn when it arrived or very slight pull tore the fabric. Also the sizes were inconsistent. Though I bought two of the same size, one was sized a little big, the other much smaller. I did get the small one to finally stretch a little and fit on, but with the weak sides I fear it will not last long.

I bought the same brand in the store and thought all types where the same but it came out that this was thinner, so I returned in a breeze. The rich is not something you see when u get it. Went to the store and bought the same brand but the thicker type as I was expecting.

I bought it, opened it, and knew right away it was poor quality. My finger ripped through the fitted part of it when I tried to put it on my bed. Haven't slept on it yet, paired it with a mattress topper though.

When I opened the package, I noticed that the pad was torned half way... I had my sewing machine threaded so it was not a problem stitching it together.

Tried to put this on our pillow top mattress and it doesn't fit. In trying to stretch it on, I put my fingers right thru the side fabric (it was more like a paper substance with eleastic). Very disappointed....but they did take it back.

I was looking for a cover and not a thick pad and this is close enough to fill my needs. It gives just a slight bit of cushioning and seems well-built. My problem with it is that it moves around and bunches up. That could be because my mattress has a silky surface. It seems to be a little warmer to sleep on than the bare mattress.

I read the reviews before deciding which pad to buy. The manufacturer must have changed the specs if anyone else thought this was a great mattress pad (I bought this one in August 2012.) This pad has a nice cotton top, BUT... the side part is like spun polyester paper. My hand went through it in three places when I put it on my bed. I am a woman of normal strength, so it was not my burly girly superpowers that was ripping this mattress pad. The amazingly poor quality was a BIG disappointment.

For $13.47 for a double bed, I could not pass this up. This is for my son to use in college. I washed on warm and dried on low with no problems. The fit is also bigger for the depth of the mattress he has. So far so good.

The mattress pad seams ok but the part that goes over the sides and ends is very cheap and crinkelly and even tore while I put it on the first time. My other one was 10 years old and was finally wearing down with a tear on top. This one will not last very long. Very dissappointed in the quality for the price. Should have sent back but now have thrown out the old one and do not want to go without one on the bed.

This mattress pad surpasses the comfort and fit from my last one, which cost 3 times as much. I purchased the pad online on impulse, thinking that I'd have to replace it very soon. I was so wrong...I have a 17" mattress and this pad is more than adequate. It stays in place and is super comfortable. I washed it before I put it on my bed, and it did not shrink at all. I am very happy with both the quality and the value.

This product was suppose to have deep pockets but still wouldn't fit over my mattress easily. When I pulled to make it fit the sides all ripped! The pad itself is comfy, if only the sides weren't made out of paper!!! Too late to return, I can't believe I wasted my money on this. I will have to buy a new one now. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
