I'm sure the adapter works fine. It's advertised as adjustable between 1.5v to 12v, it is adjustable, sort of, but not to the voltage I need. My camera (Fuji FinePix 3800) requires 5v, the adapter has 7 different voltage settings but none of them are 5v. It has: 1.5v, 3v, 4.5v, 6v, 7.5v, 9v, and 12v choices to choose from. That is not adjustable to me, it means you have those settings available to choose from, not adjust. Of course, the package it comes in does not have those "adjustments" on the package itself, the choices are ONLY on the back of the adapter and not visable till you rip open the package. Due to a poor description of this item, I now have to go through the return and shipping process just to get a refund of a very inexpensive item. Seems trivial (it really is), but now I can't use my camera to download pics to my computer so I can get some prints made or whatever (the camera eats battery's, after all, it's 7 yrs. old). Oh well, I'm back to searching for the correct voltage adapter AGAIN, all because of a bad description of the adapter. Thanks for letting me air myself.
