I bought this for my 8 year old son who loved legos. This toy required to assemble but he could not put them together to stay intact, we have to use tape, glue so those part won't fall apart, and we spent 2 hours and just finished half way. I want to return it, but my son want to finish it.

It's a scale model, not a toy.

It is not Legos. You need to buy plastic cement to glue the model kit together. Your local hobby shop can help you further.

Not a Toy

Well reading the above comment which doesn't seem fair to the product.
This is a plastic Model Kit, Plastic Model kits are not toys and as it states at skill level 2 these type of model kits require plastic model glue and paint and require assembly. And Model kits are mostly for display only and not meant to be played with by children of young ages.
So I would suggest that if you are shopping for toys for younger children stay away from plastic model kits, unless you and your child are comfortable with plastic model kits and should then look for Snap-Fit or Snap Together type models for younger children as they have less parts and require no glue for assembly and can be handled and played with. But will still be fragile and can break easily.
