Light weight, easy to handle, a must have. Immediately after receiving it, my son set it up. Took him less than fifteen minutes. It was easy to start, easy to manuever. The grass catcher was great. It was like using a vacuum cleaner except less noisy. A must have if you have a small yard. Only set back is the cord. You just need to be careful and try to keep cord over your shoulder. Will recommend it anytime.

I put the mower together no problem, it started up very easy with the push of a button. It is very light weight and has a good motor and cuts well. However...the very first time I used it, about 3/4 ways thru the job the wheels came off and fell apart. I was VERY disapointed as it was very easy for a woman to use. I contemplated ordering another one didnt want to go thru returning another if the wheels came off again.

A Mower Even Grammy Can Use!

I received my Sun Joe Mow Joe a couple of weeks ago, but due to weather issues, had not had the opportunity to use it. I assembled it myself (I'm 64 and female, by the way, but can wield a screwdriver# with no problems. The directions were very clear and easy to follow.
After reading problems others had had with the motor stalling, I did some research and realized they probably did not have the proper cord #instructions online and in the package both say 14 amp, outdoor cord only#. I also purchased an adaptor with an auto shut-off just to be safe. I suggest both.
I carefully read the directions regarding mowing, as I had never used an electric mower #and in fact have not mowed a yard in probably fifty years#, and followed them as closely as I could. It's very much like vacuuming, however. I have many years experience wrangling a long cord to keep it out from under the vacuum; this was very much the same situation.
My grass was very long, as it has rained almost every day here for two weeks, and this would be my first real mowing. I mean some of it was two feet long. This little critter chomped it up and gathered it in the #somewhat too small# grass box. It did a great job with a really neglected lawn. I set the height at the highest level with no trouble, by the way.
For the convenience of just plugging in a mower, not having to fetch gasoline #and smell it!#, not having to listen to a really loud motor, as well as doing such a super job, I think it's a great buy. I've only used it once, however, so time will tell.
A couple of caveats: this mower is definitely not for you if you have a big yard. The grass bag lugging will drive you crazy! For me it was fine, however. The cutting width is pretty narrow, too. If you have a small yard, it is perfect, though. It is lightweight #I could lift it back onto my porch with no trouble).
Go Sun Joe Mow Joe! I'm a happy camper.

For the price this is a terrific little mower & it comes with a bag. Just perfect for our lawn. It's easy to start, & light enough that I have no troubles using it. Even though I have major back issues. I'd recommend it to anyone with a small enough yard that the electrical cord will reach. The process on ordering from Walmart.com was easy enough, & they even got our order in almost 5 days ahead of what they said. Which was awesome, as our lawn had gotten pretty high in spots.

I bought this mower about a year ago. I loved it until I had to replace the blades. I ordered the recommended blades and they did not fit at all. No resolution was found. Also no help could be obtained. Therefore the mower that I loved was useless. So after a considerable time I trashed it.

Cut my ''grass'' (sand, baby oak trees, weeds) like it was butter. Light and easy to push -- that's good because the other hand was learning how to manipulate the electrical cord. But easy to start (no arm breaking while pulling the rope to turn the engine) and no gas! Small and easy to get into those hard places a regular size mower doesn't get into. Easy to put together, I started mowing right away!

This is an easy to put together mower. It worked great on my yard, which was a little high. I had to empty the grass box 7 times but the yard looks great and the mower was easy to get around my shrubs, etc. I would recommend this mower to friends for sure.

I purchased this lawn mower because I have a small yard and limited storage. There was little assembly required other than attaching the handle and the rear grass catcher. It works great. I had no problems . I did have to empty the grass catcher once but it is really easy to remove and replace. I read other reviews which were not so great but this mower works fine for me!! I also purchased the extended warranty (just in case) but so far so good!!

I am very pleased with this product. It does a great job of cutting and is light weight which is perfect for me. The only thing that I would say to keep in mind is the size of the catch bag..it is a little smaller than gas mowers so it requires more frequent emptying, buy overall a great investment!

Decent price but came broken. Good size for my 10 yo to use. Only used once- so far so good. Only bad part is the bag attachment made of plastic which was broken when we got it. Clean start like it alot
