Did a lot of online searching and reviewing. Wanted a nice table for part time play without spending a lot of money. Needed a table that would fit in a medium size space. This table fit the bill. The Accuslate surface is great even though its not a real slate. Trim is nice. Table is a bit of work on the assembly. Take your time. Clothe could have been higher grade, but I gave it excellent because of the value. Really like this table.

I was in the market for a nice pool tbale for the garage but didn't want to spend the money (or deal with the hassel) of buying a slate one. I researched non-slate tables, read the reviews and finally settled on this one based on the positive reviews and the fact that it has a seven year warranty on the playing surface. I even called the manufacturer (wayfair) which they told me that yes in fact the warranty is seven years. The only thing I was worried about was it warping. The woman told me if it ever did warp, they would come to my house to replace it! SOLD! Put the table together in an afternoon. Had two neighbors help me lift the playing surface. Everything went together with no issues. All the holes lined up, etc. I used a simple level and adjusted the bottoms of the legs to get it level before the playing surface was laid on top...very easy! Now the best part. I was COMPLETELY AMAZED at how well this table plays. I've been shooting pool recreationally since I was ten (36 now). I can tell when a table is bad. This is not one of them. The surface is not real felt but the balls roll on it very far. I couldn't believe that it is not a real slate table!! If you are looking for the best table out there for the money...THIS IS IT!!!

The pool table is really a nice addition to our room. I was very satisfied with the product. I purchased it for my husband's Father's day gift. We have received lots of wonderful compliments about the table. (I will have to glue one of the legs back, wood is cracking.)

Review 5 for Fat Cat 7' Frisco II Pool Table
Table for beginners

This pool table was just as expected. It is definitely not a slate table, but it is as good as its price. I am one that is used to playing pool on real slate tables and getting the true roll and feel from the pool balls. There is a distinct differenrce between MDF (accuslate) and real slate. Some say that MDF plays just as good but that is not the case (there is no comparison), these tables are hard to get leveled to perfection. For a first pool table this is a great investement, but if you are a serious pool player you will be better off paying the extra money and buying a more expensive "slate" table, if your house can handle the weight. My over-all experience was good for this product, because it was what I expected it would be for the price, but as stated above it is MDF and not slate, so if you are just looking for a table to play with the kids on, and not a serious pool player, then this is a great table for the money and I would recommend to anyone.

Same performance with the $2000 pool table. Best buy for beginners. You just have to buy your own sticks and balls plus find your own assembler. I still recommend it overall.
