Free of "Blue 1" artificial color!

This is the only brand of marshmallows I've been able to find that doesn't have "Blue 1" artificial color in it. "Blue 1" food dye has been banned in many European countries, because it can cause an allergic reaction in some individuals with allergies & asthma.

I completely disagree with the previous two comments. My wife and I made smores last week and these marshmallows melted perfectly!
Our only "complaint" - I wish Great Value also offered Sugar Free or No Sugar Added marshmallows as well.

These do NOT make good s'mores from a camp fire. They don't melt into a warm creamy goo that will melt the chocolate. Stay away from this product!

I have made Rice Krispy Treats many many times. I decided to try Great Value marshmallows this time. I started to melt the marshmallows as I have in the pass. Wright from the beginning I notice something different. The marshmallows became one large blob in the pan and did not become liquid at all. After awhile the marshmallows started to turn brown. The longer I heated the marshmallows the browner they got. I through that batter out and went back to Kraft Marshmallows. Mush better.
