This was exactly what we were looking for. We recently built a dining room next to the kitchen, and my wife missed sitting by the kitchen window in the morning.
We bought this to resolve that issue and found it to be perfect. It's big enough for two people to have a meal, or to use for extended workspace when cooking. It's also small enough to be out of the way as it doesn't restrict traffic.
The table and chairs are sturdy, attractive, and add to the color scheme of the room.
Hit a home run with this.

Easy to put together but the chairs and table were not completely painted (white) which showed up, so I did have to paint the chair legs, the ends of the chairs and the under side of the table...but it is the size I had been looking for for years so was able to sort of overlook that and not return it...I would suggest that if you buy this, BEFORE you put it together, paint it! It would have been easier then doing it afterward like I did.

I purchased this table and chairs for a small kitchen area. However it is really, really small. It would almost be too small for a small efficiency apartment. I wish I had realized at the time of purchase that it could not be returned to a Walmart store. I definitely would not have made the purchase. Returning the item is more trouble and costly than it is worth.
