We just spent two days at an amusement park, in the upper 80's with the sun scorching down, and this thing worked great.
My 9 month old is very very fair with blonde hair and blue eyes. I was so afraid of her burning but she's totally untouched. (no sunscreen!)
She is very independent and nosey so we were afraid she would try to pull it off but she never did. I think she understood it kept her cooler.
We could stick our hands in there and literally feel it was slightly cooler under the shade cover.
She must had been able to see fine out of it or she would had pulled at it, I'm sure because she is so nosey :)
What's amazing is I didn't see another one the whole 2 days we were in the park. Mamas you gotta do better protecting your little one's delicate skin.
I can't rave enough about this product, more then worth the price.
