This Cap Barbell Workout Bar makes a great addition to your home gym. This Workout Bar can be utilized in different types of workouts ranging from strength and conditioning, circuit and interval classes, balance and alignment, sports conditioning, kick boxing and martial arts, and flexibility training and pilates/yoga workouts. The Cap Barbell Workout Bar is durable, comfortable, and the even weight distribution across the bar make the workout more effective. I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Cap Barbell body bars. I started off purchasing one 10-pound bar and liked it so much that I purchased 2 more - 15 and 20 pound. Other customers were concerned about the wrapping it came in. Yes, it did have alot of saran around it but it had been placed in a box first. It was easy enough to unwrap and cut where needed without damaging the bar. Another plus is that they are easy to store. I keep them under the couch where they are easy to get to yet invisible to others.

I used it all the time for numerous exercised, and I love it. I ordered the 20lb bar and it seems to be just perfect for me! It also stores away so easily. I did not have any trouble opening the packaging.....or any problems whatsoever and I have owned this product for over a year.

Ditto as others, way too much troubloe unwrapping while trying not to damage it. I used a biox cutter, and cissors, very carefully. They need to change the wrap by adding a 1 pull like zipper to open.

I have worked with these bars at my gym during cardio/plyometric workouts and could not pass up the chance to own one for my home to use while watching tv or during my in-home workouts. The material covering the bar makes it easy to grip. Much better than using a metal bar. Plus the color codes to tell the weight increments are good. There are so many ways to use these bars. I purchased the 15lb. It is a little heavier than what I remember in the gym but I didn't want to get too less a weight. Although I've read using dumbells are better to make both your arms work- I find this bar better to use for my carpel tunnel. I do however incorporate dumbells into my routine.
The process of ordering from Walmart and picking up in-store was great. Arrived quickly and the staff at the in-store pick up area was completely courteous. The bar was wrapped well (as some reviews have stated) but I'd rather have a product wrapped well than not and be damaged in transport. Just be careful if you use box cutters as I did- do not puncture too far (even though it was covered by cardboard) or you will damage the padding on the bar.
I found the best price at Walmart. I am very pleased with my purchase and will use Walmart's ship to store option again. I definately recommend this product.

I really like the weight bar. I only need a few weights and this way I just get the bar for each one and don't have to mess with adding/removing weights from each end of the bar when I want a different weight. All I do is pick up the weight bar I want. Excellent product, delivery and value.

Purchased the 10 lbs bar for stretching exercises. The bar is about 1.5 - 2 inches thick, so if you have small hands might be too big for you. Other than that great bar.
