The Songs Will Play All The Way Through!!!, 01/17/2010

I thought this was a great idea until my daughter started to play with it. The songs wouldn't play all the way through! I was VERY disappointed...until..... I went online to the Fisher-Price website and read other reviews. People were saying to tighten the screws to the mic stand and the song will play all the way through. It is as if this toy is on "Shut-it's-self-off-store-shelf-mode" until you tighten down the screws to the legs of the microphone stand. IT WORKS!!!! I LOVE THIS NOW! MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT TOO!

I got this because my baby likes to take the microphone when my older girls play karoake. The mic on the toy really works, but doesn't detach, so she can't hold it in her hand. Also, when she pushes a piano key a song starts but fades out halfway through. I looked to see if it was maybe in a demo or try me mode, but couldn't find anything.
She likes it, she plas with it, but for nearly $50 it could be better.
