Sunpak Sunpak Tripod With 3-Way Panhead, Bubble Level And Second Quick-Release Platform
The Sunpak Tripod with 3-Way Panhead is specially designed for those serious amateur and working professional photographers who are using the latest DSLR cameras and camcorders. This Sunpak quick-release tripod features a heavy-duty 3-way panhead with a reference scale that comes in handy for precise panning and tilting. The panhead can be conveniently extended for easy video usage and it comes with two bubble level quick-release plates. Its retractable legs have a sturdy metal leg brace with a quick-release lock for easy setup and take down. This Sunpak camera tripod also includes a second quick-release platform as an added convenience.

This is a real high quality piece of equipment. It is very light so it is probably best for indoor shooting. But the stand is wide enough to give it a stable base. The height is not good for standing and shooting. So get a good chair to sit on. It will put your camera at table top level.
This is a very good tripod for the price.

I put in a rating and made a mistake on the height. It will extend to 60 inches. The legs have a further extension that I did not notice. So my rating will change from excellent to extremely excellent. No wonder this thing is out of stock as I write.

I read several reviews of tripods prior to purchasing this one and I have to say that I am happy that I didn't waste my money on the $100 one I was thinking about getting.I absolutely love this tripod because it is so simple to use. I can set it up in about 30 seconds, including getting the camera locked in place. Having the 2nd platform also means that I can quickly switch between my camera and video camera, if need be. It is very stable even with my large lens (70-200mm, f2.8) attatched to my camera. You will not be disappointed in this tripod.
