A very nice compliment to the selection of weights I got with my $70 bench with weights. I have found that I needed to move the weights away from the center of the bars with 4" and 6" pvc 1" collars in order to keep my elbows from hitting the weights when doing upright rows. I like cememt weights because they are quiet and easy on my carpet.

I didn't catch it until I after ordered the set but the bar is two separate pieces which is fine long enough you tap over the pins to keep them in place as they don't have a to lock the pins in. Otherwise a good price for a nice starter set.

One of the weights had busted open during shipping. The sand inside the weight went EVERYWHERE and made a HUGE mess. Returned it the same day that I got it in the mail. Would not recommend this to anyone.

I was extremely disappointed in this set. The bar came bent and had to be hammered back into place. There were also chips in several of the weights. Would not recommend.

Good value for the money. The weights flop around a bit on the bar, but this is not objectionable during use. Similarly, the 2-piece bar is not entirely rigid and it rattles, but again this is not a problem during use.
One of the plastic end caps broke off the first day. The end caps limit damage if you accidentally bring the bar into contact with a wall, wood floor, etc. I discovered that these black plastic plugs can be easily replaced with a 7/8" or 13/16" generic hole plug from a hardware store.

Overall the set looks great.... but... when it was delivered it was left in the rain (even though we have a porch) and when we opened it we threw away the box. Then tried to assemble it but a piece that holds the bar together is missing. I have tried to get a new pin but the company is no help saying I have to return it but I can't return it because I threw away the soggy box. Overall very frustrating.

The first time I opened my weights, one was deformed at the inner hole of the weight and leaking; I had to return the entire set to the store and they refunded my money to get another set. This set came yesterday and the bar was bent at a 30 degree angle plus another weight has cracked. I suspect a combination of low build quality and abuse by UPS. I am just going to get cash back this time.

This is a great set for beginners and those who want an upper body workout.
I purchased this for my 14 yr old daughter to work out in the basement and
She loves the fact that she can start with 10lbs on each end and work her way up to 50 or 100lb total. The clamps stay in well and hold the cement weights in place.

Bought these weights to get my kids started. Good weights, exactly as advertised. Bar will not hold more than 100#. It would be nice if the weights came in smaller sizes, allowing for a slower transition as you get stronger. I also bought the 40# set to give a smoother transition through the weight levels.

Received very quickly. Set as advertised. You get what you see, the bar, two 25 lb, two 15 lb and two 10 pound weights. Bought this for my son who has never lifted before. Great beginner set and if your experienced it is nice to have the additional weights. Bar came in 2 parts but very easy to put together. Bar seems sturdy enough. I have been lifting for 25 years and this set is as good as I have seen for the price. I have metal weights and the cement encased in plastic. The metal weights and dumbells will tend to rust over the years, the cement weights do not. Good value. Would recommend for beginners or if your looking to add more weights to an existing set
