If you just want to toast something, this is not for you. It has a few buttons to push before you actually can start toasting. But if you can handle modern electronics, you can handle this. Also, you have the rather unique option of poaching eggs for your own breakfast sandwich, which is pretty easy, and easy to clean. This unit is a bit larger than a basic two-slice toaster, so keep that in mind. Since I just got it, I can't speak to it's durability, but I appreciate the fact that it toasts without the exposed heating elements of more standard units, and it will give you a lot of control over that process. I recommend it.

I previously had the two slice toaster and egg cooker. That died (after many, many years of regular use) so I bought this. I absolutely love it. You can make up to 8 hard boiled eggs at once. The eggs are easy to peel (which doesn't happen when I boil them). I highly recommend this product.

I bought this toaster/egg cooker to replace one that wasn't working. It was the one that just did one egg and two slices of toast. I loved being able to make the egg and toast, and heat precooked meat for a sandwich like you would get from a fast-food place. The only drawback with the other model was that it only did one at a time. So, when I saw this I just had to have it! Breakfast for two! It works great. Homemade delicious eggs, meat and muffins, all done quickly and easily, and for two. Yummy! This is making me hungry... I think I'll go cook some right now!

My Grand Daughter got one of these for a wedding gift. They love it. So I ordered mine (a 4 slice ) she has the 2 slice. We both just love them. A great value and a good Mcmuffin with out the waiting or leaving home.

ordered this product online and its much bigger than it looks in the pics, took up alot of space. first thing i tried was poaching an egg and it was decent made good tasting egg other than it sticking a little bit to the pan. but then when i tried to toast some bread it didnt work so i returned the next day.

I love this product, it's really easy to use and eggs come out great. My only complaint is that the first round takes forever to get done, so I'm really not saving that much time. I could probably toast the muffins in my toaster oven and scrabble some eggs in less time, but of course it wouldn't be as much fun ;-) It's perfect for a single guy but I doubt most seasoned cooks would find that helpful.

I ordered this item online May 9th, 2012. Picked it up at the store on May 16th, 2012. Used it May 17th, 2012. Everything works as it should. I cooked 2 mcmuffins. I ate one and my 2 year old ate one. It was so good I cooked me 2 more. So now I only have 1 thing left to say, McDonalds just lost a Mcmuffin customer!!!! Why wait in line in the drive thru when yu can fix them at home in less time. Plus, you can make them anytime of the day, not just forbreakfast.

After following the written directions word-for-word the toast toasted on one side only, even though set for toast -- not bagel. The "poached" eggs turned out virtually raw after cooking for only about 25 seconds before shutting off. Not even the white was cooked. The good news is Walmart readily accepted the product for return and Walmart.com refunded my fee for the Replacement Plan immediately upon my request.

This egg toaster works great. I love that eggs and toast are done at the same time. It even has a tray for precooked meat so you can enjoy an egg McMuffin at home. It's important that you read all the instructions carefully.....using the correct amount of water for cooking the eggs is very important. And, you have to be very careful of the steam coming from the egg area. We've enjoyed this egg toaster very much and I would recommend this product to others.

My husband and I use this product almost every day. We love it! Makes great tasting eggs, any type, and cleanup is very easy. My grandsons have one and they love making the sausage, egg, cheese and muffin sandwiches for breakfast.
Nice family gift. Would also be great for singles or newlyweds.

After reading the other reviews I was skeptical about this purchase, however I'm gald I did buy it. We use it almost everyday. It is quick and easy. Couple of negatives (1) when using the toaster and egg selection it does not keep the toast warm enough to melt butter on. The toast is browned to the selection but it waits for the egg to be completed before popping up. This would be fine if it delayed making the toast until the eggs were almost done, so that everything was hot. Thats why it got a rating of 3 for features.(2) the unit is rather large. I have the 4 slice two egg model and it does take up a lot of counter space. I ordered this after seeing it online. I did not realize how large it was. Therefore, I rated appearance a 2.
Now a suggestion for all that purchase this porduct...BE SURE and CYCLE the toaster at least once or twice before use. It has a God awful smell at first. It is enough to make you want to throw up. Once it is used a couple of times that smell goes away. Thank goodness!!
The unit all and all has been great. We use it almost everyday. You can't beat the clean up and the length of time it takes to cook. It also saves you the money you would've spent going to the "Mc" guys for your morning sandwich. Plus you can make it how you want it and know it will be correct everytime.
