PrestoPresto Stainless Steel Options Electric Multi-Cooker
The Presto 06003 Options Electric Multi-Cooker has multiple functionalities to meet varied kitchen demands. It stews, roasts, deep fries, simmers, steams, blanches, boils, braises and cooks casserole. The aluminum-clad bottom of the Presto multi-cooker steamer ensures uniform heating throughout the meal. The body and rim of the cooker is made from tough stainless steel for durability and it has cool touch handles to lift the basket safely. When deep frying, the basket locks onto the rim of the stainless steel multi-cooker for easy draining. You can set the desired temperature and automatically maintain the pressure built-up inside the cooker with the Control Master heat control. The tempered glass cover and the rice cooker food steamer are completely immersible and dish-washer safe with the heat control removed.

Review 1 for Presto Stainless Steel Options Electric Multi-Cooker

I like this very much and would recommend it to any one that does not want to have that non stick on the pans. It is easy to clean up and you don't have to worry about the non stick being scratched because it does not have any. It cooks up a good pot of chili too.

Very pleased

The cooker is very nice. It is pretty to look at and works as expected. It is not a crock pot or slow cooker - so don't expect it to be one. I have cooked rice, roast beef, and soups so far. The cooker replaced an older model of the same kind of cooker. I am so thankful that they did away with the non stick surface. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an alternative to cooking on a stove.

This cooker is awesome. Have had several just like it but with Teflon coating and the coating eventually started flaking off. I was thrilled to find the same pot but with stainless steel coating. I love it.

I LOVE it. I have had several pots like this but with teflon coating that always came off. I had been looking for something like this for some time and just can not say enough great things about it. I use it for everything. I have made chili, apple butter, stew, soup, everything. You can fry in it too. I am tempted to buy a second one, that is how nice this pot is!!

Review 6 for Presto Stainless Steel Options Electric Multi-Cooker

This is my third Presto multi cooker, my first all stainless. I have always been very fond of them, tho the ones with the non-stick had a habit of peeling. I have only used it once, but it worked perfectly. I made a large pot of spagetti sauce and at first I thought the meat was going to stick (I was using 93 lean), but it worked fine, a little oil would have probably been a good idea. I have a gas stove top and two cats that love fire, so the multi cooker is much safer for things that need to simply sit and simmer, plus not so hot in the summer months. Lived in Arizona for 4 years and did 99 percent of my cooking outside. Do not care for cord. Haven't had it long enough to rate durabilty, but others I have had lasted great, except the non-stick.

This has been great the few times I've used it. The only "caution" I have is that it browns on a VERY low setting.

It does the job well, but in smaller batches than I had expected. We have a family of 6 and it takes 4 or more loads to do the job. Still better than the smaller ones. We couldn't get the job done with the smallones. We are enjoying deep fried fish for a change, and frenchfries. Haven't tried chicken et. Had about 5 meals with it so far. Like others, I dont like the magnetic disconnect, but we can deal with it.

Review 9 for Presto Stainless Steel Options Electric Multi-Cooker
Great for RV

We ordered this so that we could use it in our motorhome, where size and weight are important. The less we use our stove, the more propane we save. We tried it at home, and it works fine. Between this multi-cooker, the Presto electric fry pan we have, and the bbq, we will be able to cook just about everything without using the stove.

I love it. This replaces a similar product I used for over 15 years-the movers broke it. This one is much nicer looking and has even more uses. Heats up super fast so very little waiting.

Beautifully crafted, beautiful to look at when it's out on the counter, easy to use. Very high quality for the price. Highly recommend it. Not sure how the magnetic plug will hold up ... good so far ... time will tell!

Outstanding Product

I purchased this cooker when the electrical outlet to my stove went bad and I was left with no way to cook other than my microwave. I have made fried okra, spaghetti, steamed vegetables, and soup in it and its performed beautifully. It's so easy to use and clean-up is a breeze because it is fully submersible. I would recommend this product over the Fry-Daddy to any one any time.

I have a smaller Presto Multi-Cooker with the non-stick interior and really like it. I wanted a larger one but was worried about food sticking in the stainless steel one. No problem! I can brown my hamburger meat, add the rest of the ingredients and simmer spaghetti sauce for hours with no sticking. I also like it for frying fish. We camp a lot and this pot is always one of the first things I put in the camper.
