i bought this safe and another key from a different safe opened it. which is not safe being that I have guns and credit cards in the safe. I would becareful and test out the keys u have laying around. this key can prob open all other safes that are the same

I really like the compactness of this safe, especially considering I use it in my car. I have bolted it inside the trunk of my car and because of the shape of my trunk, I am also able to "conceal" the safe from view when the trunk is open.
It is easy for me to access and I really like the fact that I am able to use my OWN combination for it . I also like the fact that you can use either the combination OR the key for accessing the safe...especially if you were to "forget" your combination. Can't even tell from looking at it that it can take a key to open.
Hint: if you decide to use this in your vehicle, remember to keep the key either with you (attached to your regular keys, or in your wallet or purse) or, somewhere in your vehicle.
Great for storing "extra cash" while you travel, or your check book and you don't want to bulk up your pockets or purses with it, and for whatever else you consider valuable.

Lost 3500$ firearms and valuables to this safe

I actually liked this "safe" until it was broken into while I was not home.
I came home and found the safe, pried open with a simple flathead screwdriver which was lying next to the safe. My Sig Sauer P229 was gone. You can see in the inside of the safe door that the box housing the deadbolts simply pried away from the front door. I will refer to the companies website that says exactly this: "Solid steel, pry resistant door has concealed hinges and 2 steel live action locking bolts." Pry resistant? A simple cheap flathead screwdriver defeated this so called safe.
Don't make the same mistake I did. This safe is no more secure than a cardboard box to an adult with a screwdriver.

Easy to use safe. Programmable combination makes for easy and quick access. For the money, it is a good value.
I would have preferred to have a backlight on the keypad, as it is, there is a yellow light that blinks when you press a key, but in the dark, that does nothing. I chose a combo that 'makes sense' for quick access in the dark, plus put a little flashlight next to it.
One other thing, they give mounting hardware, but only screws. I would have preferred to have nuts and blots included too.

This item is great for this price, however, product could be better with all metal instead of front plastic. I would invest more to have a larger dimension and weightness, but this a great safe for college students who live in dorm or share room.

I bought this one because this one was on sale. This safe is everything I expected,
I like the option of the back-up key and case you forget your combination key. This one have a lot of room, but I don't know if this one can support a fire.

I bought this to store 3 pistols in. It works wonderfully! Ive actually mounted it to the wall in a closet, and built a box around it. This is a very secure little safe as it was tho. I havent felt one bit worried about my guns, or any kids that happen to be around the safe! The push button combo is easy to use, and even easyer to program! If I had any complaint at all it would be that Im a little slow, in when I first recived the safe I had a heck of a time finding the key opening! Its hidden under a removable panel duh~ Not fire proof, but kid and novice robber proof indeed!

I ordered thru Walmart and had item delivered to store at no charge. I have read some reviews about this product that complained about safe arriving with chips, dings etc. I inspected at store and it was in perfect condition. It is easy to program, attach to wall and shelf and holds 3-4 handguns with ammo. Great price - under $60. Not firesafe but very sturdy.

I ordered the Stack-on Medium Personal Safe with Electronic Lock and was very satisfied with my purchase. It provides me with quick access and gives me peace of mind that little ones can't accidentally or purposely get a hold of weapons. It is much better than a gun trigger lock. It can easily be secured to the floor, wall, or furniture. I can open it with my eyes closed or in the dark and be armed in seconds. It has plenty of room for other items with two shelves and foam padding to keep your items unscratched.

This safe is a great deal! It's well constructed and once it's locked no-one will be able to get into it. I have several of these small safes in different rooms in my house, where I keep full size hand guns. The safe comes with everything it needs to be anchored to the wall or floor. Enter your personalized pin and the safe unlocks. These safes are perfect in combination with my full size safe in my bedroom. I am very pleased.

This safe is sturdier than I thought it would be, but it definitely isn't going to compare to larger and beefier fire safes. I like that it runs on regular AA batteries, or can use a key.
For those who are curious, even if you turn off the button sounds, when the safe unlocks it still makes a fairly loud "sproing" sound as the mechanism inside does its thing. It also makes a second sproing later as the mechanism locks again.
The inside shelf for the safe just sits in place but doesn't lock in. It does have screw holes, but no screws are provided. I think some screws from a home improvement store will work fine. The bottom and shelf both have 1/4" foam inserts to protect items from the metal inside.
Overall, I think this safe is a pretty good value.
