Stack-On Stack-On 10-Gun Safe With Combination Lock
Stack-On 10 Gun Safe has been tested by a certified California Department of Justice laboratory and is rated as an approved Firearm Safety Container. For added storage, the Stack-On gun cabinet includes a removable shelf which is positioned in the front of the unit so longer guns can be stored along the back wall. There is a gap between the back of the shelf and the back wall of the safe. Includes a 3-number combination lock with a drill-resistant, hardened steel plate behind the lock for greater security. This gun safe is a security-safe; it is not fire rated.

I purchased this safe to store a few long guns and several pistols. It'll keep the average punk from getting in and making off with whats inside. It will not stop an experienced, determined and PREPARED burglar. Not many safe's will. I've had it for two years- the combination dial and latch operate like the day I purchased it. I open and close it everyday. It has held up well.I suggest anchoring it to you wall or slab. I anchored mine to our concrete floor using four - 1/2 inch tapcon bolts. I placed it in a narrow hallway closet. Where it would be difficult to gain leverage on a pry-bar. Purchased new for $250.

I purchased this safe less than a year ago for $250 dollars free freight to local store. At that price this was a good value after improving upon the anchoring. The current price of $442 plus freight is simply not a good value. Consider the firerated safe for better value.

Security so that the little ones can't get to the guns, it's just what I paid for. It's not fire or water resistant, but with a little ingenuity with some fire and water sealant tape on the door and access holes in the back, I can raise the recovery standards if such an event should happen. For the price, it's a very good buy.

Product arrived within 2 to 2.5 weeks (ordered on 12/1/2010, shipped to NJ) in good order. 3rd Party shipper was flexible with delivery schedule and came exactly on time. Safe comes in factory box surrounded by styrofoam, but you should check condition before shipper leaves - mine was perfect. Safe looks exactly as it does in the picture - hunter green with gold colored hardware/accents. 150 lbs, easy for one person to move with normal hand truck, up stairs, etc. I was expecting safe to be constructed of thicker metal, as it is less than 1/8" thick. This safe MUST be bolted down to the floor or wall studs in order to be secure, as it would be easy to carry off the safe otherwise. The mounting hardware included with the safe is made for wood studs or flooring, so if securing to a concrete floor or masonry wall, you must buy the correct anchors and bolts (3/8"). Four pre-drilled holes are provided in the floor of the safe, and some in the back for the same purpose (4?). There is also a larger (1" or so hole which will accomodate an electrical plug for a dehumidifier or light. All in all, I'm happy with mine but I would not pay more than $300 including shipping. If this is the safe for you, wait until it's on sale and qualifies for $.97 cent shipping.

I saw this gun-safe in retail stores and thought it to be a great solution to my needs. This gun-safe is not fireproof but it is completely adequate for keeping my firearms and selected items secured. I used other hardware to secure the unit to the concrete floor. Walmart's price on this unit is excellent and I was able to have it delivered to my home for less total cost than the local retailers advertised price on the unit itself.

This safe is very good. Strong, heavy and solid. I got it with Site to Store delivery and it was easy to pickup. No damage at all.
Lots of storage space, no need to assemble.
Lock works properly. No problems so far.
I am happy because I got it for $250. Now it is almost $400! Good deal!

The fit and finish of this safe is excellent and what is expected in this price range. Door is very solid as are the locking bolts. As stated in other reviews the space inside is not going to be 10 gun if you have anything with pistol grips or place a goldenrod in the safe.

Pay attention to the dimensions! Easily fits sideways on the left or right side wall of a regular size closet and still leaves room for clothing to be hung. It is heavy and cannot easily be man handled any distance or up stairs by one man
It will hold 10 long arms- mix of shotguns and rifles but really intended for 8 especially if rifles are scoped. Rests are a bit tight for doubles. Must be anchored to the wall for safety. Upper shelf will accomodate two large frame pistols and two boxes of ammunition. I am totally satisfied. Definitely a good deal for the money.

This is listed as a 10 gun safe. If you have collapsable stocks or scopes itll be more or less an 8 gun safe. This safe is very sturdy and intimedating. You cannot find a better safe for a lower price. $318 is amazing! The safe has some places to store things on the inside but its relatively cramped so I jsut keep my guns, ammo and most valuable possessions in there (no gun cleaning stuff). This comes with predrilled holes to mount to the wall or the floor. Very simple to do and it is a must. The door is actually so think and heavy that if you open the door (while it isnt mounted) the safe will fall forward. Thats a little awkward but once mounted it is formidable.

Great sale prices of $250. Delivery was at least 10 days ahead of schedule. Product had one very very small ding otherwise perfect. This is not a heavy duty safe, but it should keep an honest man honest. Best price that I had previously seen was $356. One suggestion is to find the safe locally, look it over and then order it Don't order it and get surprised and have to return it. A very adequate safe for my purposes, and I'm completely satisfied to date. In store pickup was hassle free, but I have a small utility trailer which made the process a one man operation. For loading into SUV or pickup, I'd suggest two people.

First of all, this is not a $1000 gun safe. It is how ever a great safe for the money! I had mine shipped to my local store and it arrived in perfect condition. ( Even the box was in great shape) Once I took it out of the shipping box, I had it secured to the wall & floor with provided bolts in about 10 minutes. The color is a nice dark green ( mine was anyway, which is awesome because I was worried about the bright green looking a bit tacky.) It has a nice gold colored handle,combination dial and graphics. I must say I am a somewhat surprised because it is actually a better made product than I expected in it's price range.

Nice looking, well constructed, attractive finish, large, polished combination dial is easy to read. Fits in the closet so every one does not know you have it. Not too heavy to move around until you anchor it down. The safe is capable of holding more than only rifles but the shelf space is limited. Makes a great gun cabinet. Good for valuables. This is comforting security at a reasonable price. Not fireproof.
