I had been searching for a large TV for my basement/family room for the right price. When I came across this new product, I was sold. Not only is it a great product, it also is Energy Star Compliance. I'm extremely happy with the picture!

AMAZING TV, 06/04/2009

Love this TV was going to purchase the previous model of this TV, was about $130 cheaper at my store, but did not stock it anymore, but found out this TV was copming out, i made up my mind to get it. I have had no complaints about this TV except that the adaptive lighting thing that dims the picture in low-light settings was on and it was really annoying, but a 5 minute call to SHARP did the trick. Great customer service. The guy knew exactly what to do. VERY pleased with this TV. I would recommend this TV or any SHARP TV to anyone.

Better Than Expected, 05/25/2009

I reviewed TV's online for almost 6 months prior to purchasing this one. I was on a strict budget and I debated between all stores, not just the options at Walmart. In particular, I was heavily leaning towards the Vizio 120hz TV, but for the price it just didn't make sense. It was cheaper elsewhere.

The night I walked into the store, I decided on getting either the 46'' Sharp, 46'' Phillips, or 46'' Sony. At the time, they did not stock the 120hz versions, just the standard 60hz 1080p TV's. The Phillips was cheaper than the Sharp, but by only $50. The Sony was much more expensive and I didn't read anything spectacular about it when comparing the TV's extensively. To my surprise they pulled out the 120hz from the back room, it was my lucky day.

This TV has worked amazingly since the day I purchased it. Blu-Ray is amazing on it, Xbox 360 is leaps and bounds ahead of what I was getting before, and now I have every reason to get HD Satellite, it is so choice.

Setting up the TV was a breeze, out of the box the picture was amazing, using a calibration BD it fine tuned the settings and made it that much more enjoyable. It has so much more potential in the picture settings, but I just don't know enough of what to change and I'd hate to screw it up. This puppy could really use a paid service calibration, I can tell it was manufactured to do so.

I have had no issues with the television, it has worked flawlessly. I do have one minor grip, however, when playing a game, or changing channels, or when viewing a scene that has low light the TV has an auto feature in it that dims the screen until something brighter comes on. I'm sure it's something that can be altered in the settings but I haven't found it yet. It's not that big of a deal, but mainly when playing games, if I am in a part that has very low light (i.e. Dungeon in Oblivion, Left for Dead), sometimes it dims so much that I can't see what I'm doing on the game. I wish it wouldn't do that but it's not that big of a deterent. I would recommend this TV to everyone, it handles so well. Everyone that sees it is jealous. Best TV I have owned! I have the following hooked up to it via HDMI; Xbox 360, Blu-Ray, HD Satellite, Pioneer Elite Receiver. Enought HDMI to go around.
