Love this gadget. Picks up highway patrols far away, and plus less false alarms. It saved me a ticket already and plan to use it until it breaks, lol. I compared this XRS 979 with a ESD 767, its worth buying the 979 in many ways if you don't wanna pay for a ticket. It even picks up the RDD's which you can hide from when cops are scanning for a radar detectors. I'd recommend to buy this to anyone who is on the road a lot.

iv owned 2 other detectors both cobras and this one by far is the best i have ever had this is the one id bye dont waist your money on low band detectors
