The Radio Flyer Blaze Interactive Riding Horse has an X frame base that provides stability. The base comes with an integrated step that makes it easy for the child to get on the horse and get down from it. Built in safety straps ensure your kid's safety while playing on the riding toy. My only problem was when I tried to order this the first time the web site would hang up when trying to process the payment. I being impatient gave up and tried to purchase again the next day and to my surprise the horse had went up $20.00. Of course walmart had no problem processing the payment this time:-(

Love this toy. It was not difficult to assemble. BUT legs are a little uneven after assemble; had to tape a small round piece of cardboard to one leg bottom to make even. Now it is perfect. the girls ride it every day. Great deal would buy again as gift.

My husband put it together, took about an hour, he said was very easy. Me and my grand daughter entered the bed room with all the parts on the bed and she flipped out! She lives with us and has never been around a rocking horse, but she knew immediately what it was and that you ride it.
It's a bit too big for her to get on the horse by herself, but she still tries. This horse gets all her kisses :/

Good sturdy toy with safety features

It took awhile to put the horse together, but it is strong and sturdy and the instructions were clear. One of the front legs doesn't fit tightly into the body, but I don't think it is wobbly enough to work its way loose. I especially like the cloth covered springs and bolts, so that they won't cause injuries for a child. This is for our Grandson's birthday in December, so he doesn't have it yet, but we think he will have a ball riding it!

We purchased this for our 2-yr. old granddaughter and she loves it. It makes horse sounds as she rides it (this can be turned off) and it comes with a carrot to feed the horse. The horse is colorful and has a mane that can be combed with the included comb. The horse appears to be sturdy and we expect our granddaughter to have years of fun riding it. My daughter didn't mention any trouble about assembling it, so that should be somewhat easy. The only down side is that Walmart doesn't carry this product in its store -- we think they should. Delivery was quick however with no problems.
The Walmart price was very good. We couldn't find it cheaper anywhere. Walmart also has a great price on a Radio Flyer Big-Wheel type 3-wheel rider we also purchased. We're very pleased.

This is the second horse I've purchased for my son. The first one I took outside and left it there for over a year. Even through the Florida rains, it still worked perfectly. Then we moved, and someone took it. My son was really upset and I promised I would get him a new one. He is on this horse multiple times a day. It has been his favorite toy for over 3 years now. I don't think he'll be letting it go anytime soon. It's a good investment.

..Im sitting here with my mother after close to 3hours of trying to put together, the directions really werent clear it took me forever to realize i had to use the "tool" it came with and the screwdriver at the same time to get the screws tight, then finally making progress when i cant and still cant get the last back red peice over the red bar that the legs go through, the little black cloth that goes over the black peice for some reason wont fit throught the red poles holes for the life of me i can not get it, im going to yell at whoever made this, once its put together my son will love its, hes already tried it and couldnt be happier but for this price someone should have been paid to assemble this for me...

Just like when I was a kid, only better! My daughter got this from my sister for her second birthday and she absolutely adores it! It was difficult to attach the head, especially with a super excited 2 year old squealing in delight! Once it was fully assembled, it did not take her long to figure out how to climb up! This horse is very well made and will be around for many many years! I recommend!

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson for his birthday a few days ago!! This was a GREAT price for such a well made toy....although I would have paid twice the amount for that BIG smile he had while he was riding it! I am 55 years old and I did find it a little complicated to put together myself but my husband had no problem. Very well made and LOVE the sounds it makes. This toy will be with him for years to come & it will get ALOT of use I'm sure.

we gave this horse to my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas, she loves him, he gets rode several times a day. the easy on off sides are a excellent feature , which she can get on and off by her self. I do notice he whinneys and makes the eating noise when the light changes in the room, so we shut off the noise at night.it did take about 3 hours to put together with the help of a toddler , probabley would have been faster by my self.and another adult to hold pieces as you bolt and tighten the parts together .. the instructions are easy to follow. and a battery operated drill screw driver makes it easier....

My 3yr old got this horse from Santa, and besides a "real horse" I don't think he could of recieved anything better! The horse is a work of art, and reminds me of a carousel horse. It is big enough for many more years of riding. This is one toy that we will probably save in the attic for our grandkids one day. This horse is a must for any lil cowboy or cowgirl!

Overall this product was definitely worth the value. My 2yr old son loved it! He is able to get on and off all by himself. He especially loves the noises it makes when he rides him. The directions were a little confusing and putting it together was a little time consuming. However, my 11 yr old daughter and I were able to get it done without a problem.
