Great value, but it was advertised , in store for a lot less, just after I bought it online. Would probably have been hard to get one though. Also, I was under the impression that it had a camera which it did not. The 17 inch screen is the biggest plus for me.

This laptop was purchased as a gift for my parents who live out of state. They love it! It's easy for them to start up and use. It has a numpad which is convenient. They really like the large 17" screen. It has more memory than they'll ever use.
We used the ship-to-store option and are pleased with the service.

Well, I have been wanting to get a loptop for a while. I was looking around for a great deal but was getting no luck. I went to walmart one night for back to school shopping and I found this laptop on sale for $343.00. I could not believe it. I had to buy it. It works WONDERFUL. I play Sims 3 for hours at a time and it handles it great. The screen is huge:),I love the side number key pad. It's great for pic's,sending emails and listening to music. If your looking for a computer that that will fit the bill...this is the one. Trust ME!! I'm not easily empressed but this really empressed me. I've been using my Dell desktop for years.. so me being use to a certain quality had me a little skepital with switching to a different brand.. but to my surprise this Toshiba works great. Enjoy:o)

I have only owned the computer for two weeks and do not use it daily, but so far it has met my expectations for a laptop. Not having owned one before, I can only compare it to my desktop that I use more often. The one drawback I have found is the volume if you want to watch a movie and not have the computer in your lap. Two of us tried to watch a movie on it last night and we could not hear from more than four feet away.

The Toshiba L350-S7905 is a discontinued model. Still it is a good buy providing (a) you don't need a 25-pin connector or (b) plan for a free upgrade to Windows 7 (the computer comes with Vista Home that is not eligible for the free updrade). The 17-inch screen is nice and the full number pad is good, but the trade-off is weight. The packaging leaves something to be desired - most connectors are by the fan exhaust and the power in is on the side (vs, in the back). USB * 3. Front connect only for audio out and camera (no built-in camera with this model). Lid must be almost fully opened to power on the machiine and to hear sound from internal speakers. For all that, Vista Home found my wireless router and Canon i850 printer easily (requires a Canon self-installing update). I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on the good-sized hard drive. Would I buy it again? Maybe, but I would do my homework first. Still, not bad for the Walmart price.

I have owned this laptop less than a month, but it has already exceeded my expectations. This is the 3rd laptop I have ever owned, and 5th computer overall. I have bought Dells for the most part, but was unhappy with the last 2 purchases so I decided to give the Toshiba a try. The price was certainly right and I haven't had any problems. The screen displays a beautiful picture and it is very fast, faster than my Dell ever could have hoped to be. The CD burner works great and the computer was even compatible with my existing Dell wireless printer. The only thing I don't like is the short battery life (right around 2 hours) but I am sure I can upgrade. This is the perfect laptop for anyone who wants a basic computer for internet, photos, music, etc and for anyone who is a beginner at using laptops. It is also VERY durable, which is good since I have a 2 year old child in the house. Definitely recommend buying it.

I've been looking around for a laptop for my mom to use and was surprised to get this one for such a steal. She wanted something that had a larger screen and easy to read and type on the keyboard. It does not have all the frills that some of the $600+ laptops have such as webcam and card reader but she does not need those things anyway. Love it! I would buy this for my teen too!
