The AT&T CL2939 Corded Speakerphone is the perfect landline phone to have at your home. The AT&T telephone comes with a large tilt display and large buttons which makes it easier to use the phone. The caller ID phone has an in built speaker with high voice clarity that ensures easy usage and better performance. A ten number speed dial option lets users dial regularly used numbers easily. A caller waiting and caller id feature is also available in the speaker phone allowing you to see who is calling. You can also easily mount the phone on a wall if you wish to. - Acceptable price (although I was hoping for under $20),
- Large numbers on keys and display,
- Speaker and mute,
- Works during power outage,
- Can operate basic functions without batteries.
- Heavy enough to stay on the table when stretching the handset cord

- Mute button requires battery (most other phones don't),
- Speaker volume "floats" depending on the sounds - especially noticeable during music on hold,

Don’t buy this phone. If you do you better plan 8 hours for programming it.
This phone is, without a doubt the MOST difficult programmable device ever manufactured. Plus when entering speed dial numbers there is NO way to store a name with the number. You MUST remember to dial 7 to contact Bob, for Mary dial 3.

All features of this phone work well. Audio assist helps the hearing impaired. The only problem I have with this phone is the large tilt display does not light up in the dark, nor do the number keys. So it is quiete difficult to make a call in the dark. I have batteries installed and the only thing the batteries do is make the speaker phone work and the 'in use' button lights up during a call.

Fone does not wall-mount easily. Lack of power rqmt results in limited display. Number keys are not 'white' but leaning toward a grey shade of color making access difficult for 'legally blind' wife.

I was very pleased with the quality of the product and the many useful functions it has. I love the large caller ID display, the speakerphone and most of all the large numbers on the dial keypad. This product is absoutely wonderful for people who have problems seeing numbers on the keypad. I highly recommend this product for people on a budget.

Finding that the MUTE does not work on this phone, I called ATT to what is up with this phone. They told me to get another replacement phone. The 2nd one I got, well the MUTE does not work on it either!

I bought this phone to replace my old one in my office. This wall mount phone is great. The buttons are big, so I can see them. The caller ID is bright and much larger than my old phone. Would definitely recommend this one. It has everything I was looking for in a phone.

I use it for working from my home. I am able to plug in a headset but I have to pick up/hang up the handset to answer/disconnect a call. It has 3 voulume buttons - one for the ringer, the hearing volume and the speaking volume. A bonus is the "audio assist" button that helps to clarify (crystal clear) the callers voice.

I am going to return. I opened without keeping box.. The number 7 key sticks and doesn't come back up after you dial it. In the same package, I had ordered a second AT&T phone, it didn't work either. Save this shipping and your time. Do not buy.

Very disappointing with all the technical glitches on this phone.
DISPLAY PANEL IS NOT BACK-LIT

I use the phone at my desk. Due to the fact I can talk and work at the same time by using the intercom function on the phone. It works great . A lot of you want to know if the phone has a headset jack. The answers no ,it's still a great phone for the price. It has extra-large display and buttons that are easier to see if your site is less than it used to be the only drawback I have with the phone is in the photo, it looks like the display lights up, but it doesn't, which would be a great feature
PS another great feature of the phone is the answering machine I set it to two rings so when telemarketers call. They usually hang up rather than speak on the answering machine, which is a great feature of this product. You all know how hard it is to get them off of the phone

Love this phone! Large numbers, large view screen, good sound. I would have rated it five star except the screen does not light, and the speakerphone has a slight whirring sound, but still can have a nice conversation. Would I buy this phone, again, YES I would!!!
