I'm 5'7 160lbs bought the long sleeve to use as a rash-guard to surf with. Got the XL after reading the reviews on the size accuracy, I could not get into it fit like a extra small. The price and material quality are great but you need to be 12 years old to fit into it.

very strange. I wore it yesterday under another shirt and noticed nothing different in regards to heat, however it feels very weird, clammy, and of course very tight, even more so than equivalent underarmor. I took off the shirt and the compression tee was wet, wore it uncovered for a while, riding a bike. it seemed cool to the touch on the exterior but not my body. decide to pull it off and just wear the shirt to compare and found it near impossible to pull off while slightly damp. actually thought it would simply tear as it was at the limit of what I could pull. took about two minutes to get it over my head and the only way to get it off of my arms was to let it roll over itself and turn inside out. It is size XL, my chest is 47+, that should be the high end of XL, arms are pretty well muscled, but not body builder level. I will never try it again. I do have another long sleeve turtle neck by a different mfg. it is about 12% spandex XL and fits snug. it is one of my favorites to wear, but is heavy for cool weather. I did talk to several people that have these and they like them, so I have no explanation for my issues, perhaps I should have gotten 2XL. Do not think that is available.

i am 6' 190#. i read about the sizing issues others have had and ignored them. learn from my mistake.
the XL was so small i could barely fit my hands/arms into the sleeves. my wife thought i bought it as a joke. this would be much more appropriate for a medical school skeleton. i can't stress how small and tight this shirt actually is. it did not feel like a compression shirt at all; it felt like a straight jacket.
i am all for the cheap starter stuff on walmart.com, but this is not something that is wearable.

I got one for my 12 year old son, in Men's small. Super tight! I would recommened to buy a size larger than normal, and that is still tight. Two sizes larger than normal if you don't want to peel it off. But, my son does love to wear it under his Lacrosse gear.

We are delighted with this purchase. It's a great option for our son, 13, giving us a price that is affordable. He wears it as a part of his baseball uniform, under his jersey. It fits him a tad bit loosely as one would expect. For your fitting information he is 5'2" and weighs about 102 pounds.

The quality of this tee stands up with the big boys, like under armour, nike, adidias..
The price blows them out of the water.
BUT..I'm 6'3" 180 lbs. and ordered an XL..The sizing was way off..An XL MIGHT fit a 12 yr. old..
Had to order a 3XL to make it work..
So, order big!

I run.. and found these compression shirts are ideal during cool weather runs.. Since most races start early in the morning, before the day warms, these are excellent in that they keep you warm, and paradoxically keep you cool when you start to perspire... I bought a couple of these last year.. and saw these were discounted from the price at the stores... I generally wear a small size tee, but with these compression shirts I found the small to small and went with the Large size (2 sizes more than what I normally wear) . I like them so much I also own the short sleeve and sleeve-less
versions... As a shorts and tee shirt kinda guy... I wear them all the time... Highly recommend them... much better value than the similar ones than ones you see at sports stores...

Great value. Not as compressing as big name sports store brands. Sizing is true and materrial has withstood multiple games and washings. Fabric is holding up. For the price this is gold. My boys grow so fast they seem to outsize every month.

It's kinda thin compared to the much more expensive name brands. And it's sizing is way off! Order 2 sizes up. Take my word for it. Because of previous reviews I ordered one size up. It was still too snug. Go a minimum of 2 sizes up! Other than that, it does what it's supposed to.

Bought men's medium size, looks like it was made to fit for a small boy. It was probably tagged "mens" instead of "boys", or it was just made to fit really skinny and small men. Good material and quality though!

This is a very good shirt for the money. I run about 3 times a week, 15 to 20 miles and wear this shirt on colder days. I am one of those finicky runners that when something bugs me it about ruins my run, things like tags on the back of my neck or sleeves that have ruff cuffs. This shirt does not bother me at all and I find it easy to wear. I am pretty thin and usually wear a large, but I have long arms so if I can't find a Large Tall, I usually go with an XL and that is what I did in this case. However, I find that the XL is just barely big enough. I know it is a compression shirt but it should not be restrictive especially if you are breathing heavily during workouts. I do not think an XL person would be comfortable in an XL size. The arm length in the XL is the minimum length I would accept in a shirt. My advice: buy 2 sizes larger than your regular size.

I've used Starter for many years now and I have always been very pleased. This shirt is no exception. I bought it so I could run in the cold and in the cold I now run comfortably. This is my first compression tee and I am completely satisfied with its quality and performance. I read a few reviews before purchasing and the most helpful review was the one that recommended buying one size bigger. Buy one size bigger. Also I exercise a lot and quite often and simply put, I can’t afford to buy UA or Ni-ke items that average $50. Starter has been a great alternative for terrific clothes without breaking the bank.

I have compression tee shirts from other sports brands & they are of much better quality. Also, I know these are supposed to fit tight, I have them. But, these are at LEAST a size too small from how my other brands fit. I normally where a XL & have a 47in chest measurement & really need a 2-3XL in this brand. I am returning them & will not replace because the stiching doesnt look like it will last at all compared to my other brands.
