The Mainstays Basic Black Poster Frames are perfect for displaying your favorite posters or photo enlargements. Made with a lightweight plastic railing and a plexiglass insert, these large picture frames can be hung horizontally or vertically anywhere in your home. The black frame contrasts well with both black and white or color imagery, and the simple design will complement any home decor. Simply align your photo or poster inside the frame and snap the plexiglass snugly on top. These 18" x 24" snap frames come in a set of 6 and are very easy to hang. The glass polishes easily for extra sparkle and shine.

I have bought about 40 of these frames. They are about the cheapest priced frames I've found, and are adequate for most needs.
PROS: inexpensive...includes clear plastic...easy to use
CONS: edging miter ends don't always fit, leaving a small gap...edging tends to pull apart...But still a good value!

Great deal for kids room

I needed 4 frames at a great price for some pictures in my daughters room. I found this 6 pack and thouhgt they'd work perfectly. Which, pretty much they did. However, it was a good thing I only need 4. On two of the frames, the plexiglass was damaged and scuffed up in the middle of the picture. And yes, it's plexiglass, but, in my opinion, thats fine for a kids room.

Good enough for basic use.

These frames were just what I expected - incredibly basic. The plastic pieces slide off the sides to put the poster in and slide back on. It hangs either horizontal or vertical and is cardboard. If you're looking for a fancy frame, it's certainly not this. But if you wish to protect your poster in a basic incredibly affordable way, this is perfect.

Good, light, basic frame for posters

The frame is very basic, but no scratches due to film sheets on both sides. It is extremley light, so it hangs easily anywhere. I used it for posters at work for awards - made a simple poster look nice. Frame is 4 plastic strips, so it is not living-room quality - but if you need cheap, nothing ornate - this is it!

This is a good deal. Easy to assemble with picture. Not a matte finish, so there is a lot of glare, but I knew this from the start. I just wish they had a matte finish option.

I bought this because it was affordable but it was pretty much broken by the time I got it so its held together by duct tape on the back. The frame itself won't stay together, even with its cheap price this frame wasn't worth what I paid.

Basic Poster Frames

These are great for what they are. You get 6 super basic poster frames, the kind where its just an acrylic sheet with a little thing on the sides that holds the whole thing together. If you need a basic frame and don't want to spend the 10 or 20 dollars that a solid constructed one costs, then these are what you want. Honestly I love them, wish you could buy them singly though.

when we received the frames, the plastic covers were cracked on the edges and there were scuffs on 5 out of 6 of the plastic covers. did not expect them to come in with slight damage.

Definitely cheap

A couple of the frames had cracked corners on the clear plastic, so I'm glad I had extras to work with. Overall they're easy to put together, but not quite the quality of frames I was expecting. That's part my fault for not looking into the details of the frames. I have ordered frames before, and thought I was getting the same style...oops! No big deal since these are hanging in our office and nobody will be inspecting them that close (I hope!).

These frames were exactly what I was looking for, inexpensive, plastic frames to hang up posters and kid’s artwork. If you are looking for high dollar frames to pass on this is not for you! I will say what you get for the money is a great, easy to work with product. FYI- there was plastic protective film on both sides of my "glass" so the pictures will look cloudy until you remove both pieces.

I was surprised when it was not a 1 piece frame. The sides don't match back up exactly the way they did in the shrink wrap. I ordered for a business office and am hoping no one gets too close to them. Kids room would perfect for the price.

We bought these to use for some disney posters we wanted to put up in our kids play room. They are plastic and clip together but for a play room they are great! The kids can not break them.

Not like the larger Mainstays frames

These are just not very good. I got them along with 2 larger 34x36 frames of the same brand. The large ones were great, but these smaller ones were not very good at all. I don't reccommend them. Buy something a little nicer. I will end up replacing these when I can afford to.
