Sterilite Sterilite Footlocker, Set of 2
The Sterilite Footlocker, set of two, is ideal for storing toys and many other items. Made of heavy-duty plastic, it is strong enough to withstand rough handling. This plastic footlocker has a capacity of 92 quarts and can hold large items securely. THOUGH I BOUGHT THIS SET OF 2 TRUNKS TO HELP WITH MY MOVE TO DALLAS, THEY WILL WORK REALLY WELL FOR STORAGE AFTER I MOVE INTO MY NEW HOME & WILL LOOK GREAT TOO!!!!!!! BECAUSE OF THE WHEELS, I CAN MOVE THESE ANYWHERE I WANT, EVEN THOUGH I AM SLIGHTLY DISABLED! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO OTHERS! We needed something that would hold lots of stuff and be able to lock. This works! Bought combination lock, to use with this footlocker, just to make it difficult for someone looking to make a quick get-away with stuff. This isn't 100% fool-proof, but it's just enough to discourage.

I purchased these for my daughter who is headed off to freshman year in college. They seem very sturdy and roomy; great for her to store the things she wants to keep tucked away. Just as advertised, standard combination locks will work to keep the totes secured. Very good quality and value for the price.

I'm just one day home from dropping my son off at college. His roommate came in with one larger storage container and was unable to place his anywhere that it would fit. My son was able to store one in his small closet and under his desk. If your buying theses for a college dorm room... I strongly recommend you buy these!

We have one of these crates already, and wanted a couple more. They're good and solid, and are great to send with kids who are going to camp.
However, they weren't in stock locally, so we ordered them online to be shipped to the local store. Upon arrival, the locks were broken on one, and the hinges were broken on the other, so we asked for and received a refund.

This works great for scout camping for my boys to put their gear in during summer camp. However, after only 1 year the top is cracked. My kids are hard on things, but I would not have expected the top to be cracked so soon.

I bought these to fit on a carriier on the back of our vehicle. Two will fit side by side. They aren't leak proof since they don't completely seal. They are just average plastic. The wheels are good to have too. They serve our purposes.

This storage container is easy to maneuver around with its strong grip handle and heavy duty locks. I filled it to the top and found I could man handle it without fail to position it into my storage unit. Very keen for storage items, and THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! Thank you again WalMart!

It is cheaply made, latches bend easily, plastic has stress marks even when new, not water tight or even drip proof, and the wheels catch on any small debris. On the plus side, these boxes hold plenty of stuff and are a great garage alternative to cardboard boxes for holding less used items: saws, grinders, etc. Even for holding less used bedding. They stack well, too.

I know these are not intended for use as luggage for air travel, however, I have often used footlockers (various brands) for international air travel, and after seeing reviews that indicated these specific footlockers had weathered air travel well, I decided to take advantage of the great price and bought two sets of two online and had them shipped site-to-store. I picked them up and got them to my car, unpacked them from their shipping boxes (the set is shipped together in one huge box that wouldn't fit in my car, but all four fit easily once out of the box) and put them in my car and went home. As soon as my husband unloaded them he was displeased by how thin the plastic seemed and by how badly some of the lids matched up to the bases in some places even when latched closed. Upon further inspection he pointed out stress-marks on the plastic in several places on each footlocker. We were not confident that this product would be durable enough to meet our needs, so we returned them all. This product would probably work perfectly for storage and organization, but I doubt it's ability to withstand the rough treatment of international travel.

I purchased the set of two to use as luggage to bring some things to a new home overseas. While the footlockers held up ok, I wouldn't count on them to make another flight. They are pretty cheaply assembled. The locks are loose and cheap so we reinforced with a luggage strap, which seemed to do the trick. The wire that holds the hinges together was coming out by the end of the trip (just had to slip it back in). That said, they did what we needed them to do (act as temporary luggage) for the right price and now we can use them as simple storage - their intended use.

I have taken flights with gifts internationally with big boxes wrapped with rope. Some of those boxes I have seen with holes to downright destroyed flopping off the conveyer at my destination, so I decided this time I would need something sturdier. So I turned to the Sterilite Footlocker.
Airlines check-in never made a fuss about it's size. It held up well to airport abuse and doesn't show any wear despite carrying 22.9kg (23kg is limit) and not having luggage straps. Inexpensive enough to just leave with family and not come back with it. Some of the reinforcement moldings on the lid, the wedging shape and the hand inserts on either side did limit capacity somewhat. Despite that it got the job done.
