We bought this for our 11 year old girls. They were thrilled. The box was smaller than I expected, but weighed 104#. It took us 2 hours to put together from start to finish. When you are putting the first pieces together, make sure the holes face up and not down, like we did. I purchased the $99 twin "mattress" for the top and when I went to pick it up, it was rolled up in a bag, so I passed on that and went with a traditional mattress. I would recommend this to anyone who was in the market for a great bunk bed.

This product looks really good in the kids room. I was set on having a twin over a full to accommodate 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy). Originally, I wanted a wood bunk but after researching and searching for a product in the price range I wanted to spend, I came up short. I then began to look outside of wood frames, when I ran across this one at Walmart.com. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. It has exceeded my expectations and the kids LOVE it. I put it together by myself and it took me 3-hr and 30 minutes. However, I had to take certain sections apart 3 times because I had a couple of things going in the wrong directions. Pay very close attention to the pictures and the way that the frames and boards are facing. It will save you time in the end. Those mistakes cost me an additional 45 minutes. My recommendation is to look at the instructions one time through. Then beginning to put the bed together, but always read the next set of directions before completing your current directions. Overall, I am extremely please with the purchase.

when i saw the box my heart jumped, because are so small i though i order the wrong thing, anyway it took me almost 2 hrs to put it together with my daughter, it is very sturdy, my kids share a bedroom they used to have a full and twin size beds in a regular size room, not much space left, now the still have their same size bed but with the advantage that now there is plenty of room.

My Boys are 3 and 6 and they had been sleeping in my bed until recently. We bought this bunk bed because it was inexpensive and yet pretty durable. My daughters had a hand me down bunk bed that was made of wood and I couldn't tell you how many times the wooden slats that are supposed to hold up the mattresses broke. We finally got rid of it since we didn't feel like it was very safe and vowed I'd never get another bunk bed unless it was metal or something made a lot safer. We looked into metal bunk beds and came across this one and even though my sons are the ones sleeping on it, it's made the whole family happy. There are weight guidelines that should be met for optimal safety. For the price and the safety, you can't beat it.

Ordered this for our kids room - We have limited space. Wanted to have a full size bed for visitors. Did not take very long to assemble. Everything was well marked. Seems very durable and solid. We were missing a couple of pieces. one slat and the clips to hold it to the next slat. Contacted the company. They mailed replacement parts the next day. Very happy with this purchase. Good price. Kids really love it.

I ordered the bed and the shipping was great, however, the hardware was missing and several calls to the company that makes this bed have yielded no results. I have to wait for the hardware to come from China and they can give me no realistic date as to when this will arrive.

I am very happy I made this purchase! I bought this bunk bed for my 7 and 3 year old and they fell in love with the beds. This bed is sturdy ( no squeaky noises) and easy to assemble( says my husband)I would recommend this to anyone.

After many reading of reviews, I decided to purchase this for my girls, ages 11 and 7. The box is heavy and long. I have a Ford Escape, with the back seats folded down, part of the box still rested on my center console. I do advise removing pieces from box if assembling in an upper room. Out of all the pieces, 1 piece of the plastic corner was broken off (didn't affect purpose or appearance) and 1 of the curved metal bars has a small dent. Other than that, all pieces were there and in great condition. Assembly was easy, took my husband and I about 2 hours. The only negative thing I can say about it, is the instructions. It's more like a picture and number book. It needs to note what direction to put the bottom bars (for the sides of the bed). There is a screw hole in the middle of each bottom side bar, those holes need to be facing up in order to screw in the support beam for the lower bed; and there are pre-drilled holes on the sides, those need to be closer to the back, where the ladder will attach to it. Ensure you have the guard rails in before tightening the frame, otherwise you'll have to loosen then re-tighten. I would also recommend those grip stickers for the steps. The metal can be very slippery, especially with socks on.

Purchased this product for my 2 granddaughters, ages 2 and 5, they love playing on the top bunk, although neither of them have actually slept there yet. Very easy to put together, provided you follow the directions. No missing parts or pieces; very happy with this purchase and price. My only issue would be that we used a twin mattress on the top bunk, not a "bunk bed" mattress, which is apx. the same height as the top rail, so we needed to also use the traditional bed rail so no one "rolls out". Overall, very happy with this product.
