I bought this for my younger brothers 12 & 13. They love the idea of the bunk bed, but had some downsides to point out. They really don't like the metal tube ladder that comes with it; it hurts their feet everytime they climb up. It's also a little rickety despite torquing it as much as we felt we could. It stays rather firm, not to say that it's falling apart or anything. In case anyone is wondering, this set does not come with the mattresses; we fortunately had a twin and a full size to spare for it. Also to point out, the description (at the time of this review) had the dimensions wrong. It stated 56.5"(L) x 78"(W) x 60.5"(H), and that threw me off. Even the diagram shows the same dimensions so I guess it's not Walmart's fault if that's what the manufacturer gave them. The LENGTH is 78" and the WIDTH is 56.5", and the height is correct. It's almost a month in owning it so only time will tell if it holds up until they get into their teens. Not bad for a budget bed.

This product looks really good in the kids room. I was set on having a twin over a full to accommodate 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy). Originally, I wanted a wood bunk but after researching and searching for a product in the price range I wanted to spend, I came up short. I then began to look outside of wood frames, when I ran across this one at Walmart.com. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. It has exceeded my expectations and the kids LOVE it. I put it together by myself and it took me 3-hr and 30 minutes. However, I had to take certain sections apart 3 times because I had a couple of things going in the wrong directions. Pay very close attention to the pictures and the way that the frames and boards are facing. It will save you time in the end. Those mistakes cost me an additional 45 minutes. My recommendation is to look at the instructions one time through. Then beginning to put the bed together, but always read the next set of directions before completing your current directions. Overall, I am extremely please with the purchase.

We purchased this bunk bed after Amazon canceled two orders for a different set due to supply issues. Since it isn't the one we originally wanted, we were not as enthusiastic to purchase this set. However, it was relatively easy to set up, took about four hours to get the room "completely done". We are happy with the bed and our daughter loves it. It is attractive and solid.

The instructions are straight forward, but there are a lot of pipes and screws to connect. I read the reviews saying it took three hours, but I still didn't think it would take me that long. It did. The package I got was in good shape, but there was one pipe with bent end. I was able to fix this, however. All in all, it's a great deal for the price.

I bought the silver which was on sale but later black one on sale for lower price than the silver one.but I liked silver after it is fixed.it is not really silver color but has ash color.i bought it for my 8 yr old son and he really loved it. it looked complicated when I opened the box but after fixing one side it became easy and was finished in one hour. all ples are letter coded which make it easier to assemble.

The only complaint the i have is with fedex i saw the guy broke the package ANd dont give me back all the pieces. I wait 2 weeks for new parts.the bunk bed is excelent product nice for my boys:-)

This bed was very easy to put together, my 14 year old daughter and myself were able to put it together in just a couple of hours. It seems to be reasonably sturdy, the only drawback that I have found is that when my daughter moves around on the top bunk the whole bed moves slightly. I had it against the wall but every time she moved it bumped the wall. Hopefully this movement will not affect the sturdiness of the bed.

We got this for our daughter and it was so easy to put up and its very sturdy.except when it was delivered the box had water damaged one corner of it was soaked and tape sll over it to hold it together. All in all a good bed!

My son now shares a room with his two cousins and the bunk bed they had was flimsy. I asked my dad to pay for his bed as he said he would help my son anyway he can. I liked the idea of a twin over full, I felt more secure about it, and the fact that is is rounded metal is better no sharp edges. He loves it and I am very satisfied. They are 4 and 5 year old monkey butts, so I can sleep soundly knowing it wont tip over

when i saw the box my heart jumped, because are so small i though i order the wrong thing, anyway it took me almost 2 hrs to put it together with my daughter, it is very sturdy, my kids share a bedroom they used to have a full and twin size beds in a regular size room, not much space left, now the still have their same size bed but with the advantage that now there is plenty of room.

My Boys are 3 and 6 and they had been sleeping in my bed until recently. We bought this bunk bed because it was inexpensive and yet pretty durable. My daughters had a hand me down bunk bed that was made of wood and I couldn't tell you how many times the wooden slats that are supposed to hold up the mattresses broke. We finally got rid of it since we didn't feel like it was very safe and vowed I'd never get another bunk bed unless it was metal or something made a lot safer. We looked into metal bunk beds and came across this one and even though my sons are the ones sleeping on it, it's made the whole family happy. There are weight guidelines that should be met for optimal safety. For the price and the safety, you can't beat it.
