I am so pleased with this product! It not only keeps my entire apartment cool and comfortable, I also enjoy and appreciate the energy saving component. This was my second purchase as the 5,000 btu just did not have the power required for this room area. This a/c is used for an apartment above a 3-car garage which is approximately 660 sq ft. I closed off the bedroom and this 10,000 btu is perfect for the living area and kitchen. The variety of speeds and ability to set the temperature requested is a major plus. Due to being on a 2nd floor, we added a "shelf" with brackets and platform outside the window to protect the a/c if the window was inadvertently opened. It still sits on the angle required but is a stable item if needed. Good purchase!

This product is a little noisy but works great! I like the fact that you can adjust the temperature and it kicks itself on and off so that you do not have to run the AC for the entire night. We used this product in our upstairs bedroom for extra cooling. It cools off our room very quickly!

the box was damaged when arrived at the store. Took it anyway because didnt want to wait for turn-a-round. Got it home and worked fine, but after running just a short while, it blew a fuse in our apartment. Now to run it, we have to make sure that all most other electronics are turned off.

I bout this unit last summer with the energy saver. However in this HOT Oklahoma weather in the summer the unit must run 24 hours a day for a person like me who refuses to be hot, this unit is so LOUD you have to turn the volume up loud on the TV to hear then you can hear your TV across the street, I'm not kidding. I never could get used to it. I bought my faithful Haier brand and sold this unit on a radio station very easily. :) Never again, other than the Loudness it blew good and cooled good. Just too LOUD didn't matter if it was the fan or compressor. Thanks but never again.

I live in a wood frame house with no insulation so we have window AC's in every room. I needed a new larger AC for my livingroom. My livingroom is large, I was very surprised that it cools the room so quick. We do not run the AC until we get home and it is 90 degrees when we do get there. I am impressed with it. I have not gotten my first electric bill from using it yet, so the energy effient is still unknown. The only down side I found it runs a bit loud. But I am getting use to it.

I purchased this ac about about a month ago by ordering online and had delivered to local walmart. I was informed by email when the product arrived. I picked it up and immediately installed it hoping it would cool our entire kitchen, dining and living area. Temps reached 95 degrees for a couple of days and this unit cooled the entire area exceeding my expectations. I was running it in the energy saving mode where the entire unit would shut down when temp is reached. I do have a ceiling fan which I believe helps to distribute cool air over the entire area. I absolutely love this unit and would highly recommend it to my friends and relatives. The only negative is that the fan is a little loud but it really pushes out a lot of cool air. I would assume any unit this size is going to be a little louder than the smaller ones. You may not be as pleased as I am if you are going to install it near the tv. ( I put mine in a kitchen window) It is truely a beast!
