I love this air conditioner as it is much more quieter than my old one. It is also energy efficient and compressor shuts down when it reaches temp, and fan cycles on & off for 10 minutes, then stops. It also has a timer which I intend to use. I have it in my small studio, 8 x 16, and it cools it very well. Mine is mounted through the wall up high so the remote comes in handy.

Well I only bought this AC a few weeks ago and only ran it as a ac a few times and as a fan a few more times. I have 2 other AC in the house and this one is the quietest. And it puts out more volume of air even though its about the same size as the other two. Decent price and free ship to store made this a welcome addition to my home. No issues at all. I recommend this unit.

Works fairly well; cools more square footage than advertised. Strange (and at first scary and annoying) grating noise, though. Don't want the frustration of warranty repair, dealing with a return/exchange, etc. so I think I'll just ignore it and wait for it to die. Got shipped to me for one reason; product not available in store. Mistake. Gratings (not sure what else to call them) came bent and warped. Product good (acceptable?), shipping not-so-good.

We chose this unit because of the clean air feature,which works well. The only concern was the fan volume which was improved by washing the filter. I would recommend cleaning the filter before operating the unit. to move the cool are more efficiently.

My air-con unit had a large very bad crunch dent on the left back corner like it had been dropped but I did not return it because I needed it as the weather was so hot I did not want to have to wait for another to be shipped to the Wal Mart store ! So far it is working ok.

Purchased to cool my living room approx 15' x 15'. Does a great job. Very easy installation. I love the auto-fan and Energy Star features which adjust the fan speed and turn the compressor on/off. I think the unit is fairly quiet but I've only been using it about a month now. So far it is definately serving it's purpose and is a great value.

I am pleased with the window unit so far. It was fairly easy to install. The only issue I had was that I have a metal window frame that I couldn't screw in to. I was happy to see that it required a normal wall outlet. I was little worried that I would need to get a special plug. It runs nice and quiet. Love the energy saver mode.
