My friends told me not to get this bike because this brand is unreliable, but I didn't listen because of the name recognition and the price. I received it, assembled it and then went for my first ride and there it was...the right pedal wobbled and squeeked. Sitting down was ok, but the best part of spinning is standing up, and I couldn't do that so I returned the bike and purchased a second bike :-( which I'll review at another time. I must add that Walmart's customer service was great as is their return policy.

I purchased this bike last month. It was very easy to assemble and it's quite heavy but overall it's worth it. Just one slight problem with my bike is that the right pedal makes noises when i'm pedaling but other than that it's a great bike and the dvd's are excellent!

This bike was an unexpected find at walmart.com, and I am very pleased with this purchase. I am getting back into a fitness routine, and this bike has saved me time and money with gym memberships. It is very sturdy and reliable. Quick assembly and excellent DVD comes with the bike. Good product!

If you're saying, "I want to workout, but don't want to invest money into something I may not keep up on" the Proform/NordicTrack/Wesco type exercise bikes are perfect for you. If you are serious about getting into shape, do your research! I strongly recommend the Spinner brand bikes. Heavy duty construction, no electronics to go bad and tons of workout programs both online and in the FREE DVD box set. Save our landfills by investing into products that are NOT disposable.

I did research before I purchased it. I was prepared to pay more and found it $100 cheaper and only $4.97 for shipping, what a steal?! Works great, quiet and stable. Like the videos, the pedals don't "lock in" but I read that before. The seat wasn't comfortable for me, but a gel seat cover did the trick. I decided against express shipping and got it in 3 days. I love it!

I was looking into Spinner bikes & Wal-Mart had it the cheapest. We ordered it. Took only a few days to arrive at my front door. Easy to set up. The first time I tried it I was floored. I had never done this type of high intensity training before, it burned!! I loved it!! The seat isn't that comfy, but what bike seat is... & you'll also be standing a lot so it doesn't really matter. I'm sure you can change it out if it means that much to you. But the bike is sturdy, easy to move & definitely does what it advertises. I recommend this purchase to anyone that is serious about getting into Spinning.

product met all expectations and for a great price. the shipping and handling charge of only $4.97 on a 94 lb item was unbelievable but awesome. do not bother to ship to the store for free when you can ship it to your door for under five bucks. would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a great workout at home. one last thing for any of you other short girls out there, yes this bike does adjust very comfortably to a 4'11'' body.

I am very happy with my purchase! I have been using the bike every other day and just love it and the DVD's.
It would be very helpful if the handlebars could be raised higher. I'm 5'2" and I have it at the highest setting. I don't think my husband will be able to use the bike because of the low handlebars. However, if you are short definitely go for it!

I read the other reviews closely before buying, most notably comments about the perceived quality, ease of setup, etc.
After a few weeks I must agree that, for most people, this is an excellent spin bike at the right price. I was prepared to spend 2X what I paid at Walmart to get one off the Spinner website, but this one is plenty suitable for what I plan to use it for - general fitness between road bike outings.
THe frame is heavy duty, assembly was minor and quick, and the quick-change set-up features are smooth and easy. Three in my housefold have now used it, and setting it back to my settings is quick and easy.
My only complaint is that the padded handlebars are a bit rough, but I use padded bike gloves to solve that issue, and take pressure off the hands too. I recommend getting a pair of bike gloves with this unit.
IN summary, not need to pay up big time for a spinner bike unless you are a serious biker and/or triathlete, etc. THis one should be fine for you and it feels like it will hold up well.
Lastly, the rollers on the front bar mean that this thing is very easy to move. Simply push down on the handle bars and the back pops up and you can roll it around very easily.
Good price, good product, good delivery. No worries.

I found this bike for $100 less than anyone else on the internet. I have wanted a spinning bike for so long. I chose to go with the Johnny G bike for the reputation. I was able to transport the bike (unassembled) in my hatchback car. It was heavy, but a hand truck works for one person. Assembly was easy. A couple of negatives though. The handelbar doesn't extend enough. My son is 6'1" and seems too low on them. Also, in a standing run or climb, I feel the chain movement vibrate on my feet (in the pedals). Kinda bummed about that. I have never had that before. Also, the seat is so tightly fitted in the slot that moving it up and down is difficult. With that said, I think the bike is well made and I am so happy to have it. Just a few things I notice that are different from more expensive versions.

most importantly, I had a pedal break about 2 weeks after purchase and the support people were outstanding; shipped me a new pedal very quickly with no questions asked - nice to know they stand behind their product

When i opened the box i was happy to see that there wasn't a lot of little pieces to put together! it was actually abc, 123 easy steps in putting it together and it only took me about 15 min to do it. The overall performance is excellent! I'm so happy to have the bike in my own home! i dont have to worry about over crowded spinning class at the gym any more! I would definitely recommand this bike to anyone that likes to spin and wants to be fit! ;-)

I use to spin at the Y and was looking for a cycle similiar to that one. I have not rode at the Y in over two years and really missed it. This was the closest I could find to the bike at the Y. Overall it has been exactly what I expected. It was very easy to assemble and is quiet when riding. I am 5'9" and read some of the reviews regarding height and the bars not being tall enough. The bike is a perfect fit for my height. I have rode it nine times in the last couple of weeks with no problems. Like most spinner bikes there is some movement in the bars but that is normal. It came with 4 DVD's and when you just go to the workout section of the DVD the ride program is well paced and keeps you motiviated. There is a mixture of workouts and you can work and progress at your own pace. I would highly recommend this spinner to anyone interested in getting a good workout.

* converting the pedals that come with the bike to a spd compatible pedal was simple - only cost me about $55 for the low end spd pedal that works really well. the total cost was still considerably less than i could find elsewhere
* only negative is the cheap bottle holder - once i tried to fit a slightly larger bottle in it the holder kind of bent and i can tell that it wont be long before it snaps off.
