This cartridge will provide you twice as many printed copies than the regular #36 cartridge. For the cost, this is a much better buy. Also, Lexmark recommends this cartridge for my printer.

The Lexmark @36XL Black cartridge is fantastic. you seem to print forever.This is the one you need if you plan to do a lot of typing or printing a lot of documents. You can also get the color in the extended cartridge too. The print quality is very good even on draft quality. I would highly recomend these.

I love Lexmark. I think Lexmark is a very nice quality printer. In response to the other reviews of these ink cartridges, do you know that you can save ink when printing papers that don't require high quality print. When your print screen comes up click on preferences then Quick Print, OK and print. It will print much faster and use less ink. Do not use this feature for important papers or greeting cards or things you want to have high quality on. Works great. Best printer I have ever had. Greeting cards look great printed on here.

36 BLACK INK IS VERY EXSPENSIVE AND THE LEXMARK PRINTER USES A LOT OF INK, THIS IS A LITTLE BETTER VALUE. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PRINTER AGAIN.
