This camera is great, when it works. I've had mine almost 2 years and barely ever use it because it never works! I finally called support today and apparently they have stopped making this camera as of last year. So, there is no way for me to even replace it. I have tons of videos of my daughter on it that I now cannot even put onto my computer because none of my computers recognize the camera anymore. The tech said I could take it to a camera shop and see if they could retrieve them, otherwise I'm out of options. Unacceptable.

Up to date I have purchased four of the "Flip UltraHD U120 Black Camcorder".. Takes better pictures than my five video cameras of other brands. The Flip was so much cheaper, too!!! Easy to operate and understand; that a five year old is able to operate the camera and down load. Gosh! Beats my expensive cameras in understanding the operation. I reccomend this camera for everyone that wants to make videos and take pictures. The program will give you a choice if you want to make a snap shot of your video after down loading....Don't wait - buy one now; you will be so glad that you had!... I Have given three to friends...They are so thrilled!

Used this camera to film my daughter's piano recital. It was very easy to operate, although a little unstable; difficult to get a steady shot. It did a great job overall, but I'd recommend a mini tripod for it. The sound quality wasn't excellent, but quite good considering. We also used my friend's Canon compact video camera (one of the larger ones with the screen that flips out to the side) to film the same event, and the Flip actually had a slightly brighter picture, and just slightly more muffled sound quality. The Canon, of course, has better zoom capabilities as well; But then, the Canon cost several hundred dollars, whereas this was not nearly as expensive. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants an easy to use, cheap compact video camera.

I purchased the flip 2-hour for our business to take before, during and after footage of projects and I am very dissappointed. I used it for the first time at an awards ceremony for my son and his AFJROTC unit, I thought it was charged, I had it plugged in for the recommended amount of time, well, long story short, I only got about 55 minutes worth of recording before the battery died. This is not 2 hours like promised. Returning for a refund!

This product is very easy to use. I like how you can play back your video right away and delete frames if you choose with a touch of a button. We bought this as a bundle package with the power adaptor and TV cables and both worked just fine. The video played well on our TV, however the images were choppy when played on our computer. Probably because our computer is older. The volume when playing back videos on the camera could be louder, but overall, I am happy with this product. It'll be alot more convenient and less cumbersome to take on vacations.

Walmart.com sent to my store for pick up a clearly open product box with a used & abused Flip camcorder at first. It was scratched, dented & looked like had been dropped several times. After a call to Walmart.com the associate got a new one shipped directly to my house within a few days & emailed me a return label to send the broken one back at no charge. Otherwise I love the Flip camcorder it's awesome!!!

The battery compartment was impossible to snap shut. I let 3 sales associates at Walmart try to shut it but they couldn't either. So I returned it. It would have been good otherwise

I purchased the Flip video as a gift for my daughter. She is very happy with it. It is very easy to set up and use and the video quality is very good. She is having a lot of fun using it. Really nice camcorder for the price. Bought for my husband for Christmas. He had it open and recording the kids opening gifts within 5 minutes. Easy to use. Still not to sure about the tri-pod stand, it was real wobbally

Ive had trouble charging the battery and researched it online and it seems like a lot of other people have had the same issues. I contacted flip since I had the camera for 15 days and couldnt return it to the store. They were aware of the issues and I had to PAY for shipping and I am currently waiting for a replacement and its been two weeks. I bought it for the birth of daughter so Im pretty upset Im missing filming her first weeks. Just hope it gets here by Christmas. I dont like that you can't see how much battery life is remaing. However it is easy to use and takes nice video. If it werent for the charging problems and return issues I'd give it 4 1/2 stars
