i used this blender for juices,wet grinding like..
(indian cooking -making blackgram lentil paste for vadas(but not gud for idlys and dosas),grinding fine ginger garlic paste)
dry grinding for masala powders,blackgram lenthils roasted and powdered into fine flour!
heats up fast so use in smaller amounts.
but the food processor cracked when it slipped out of my hand and fell on the floor.so i didn't use it at all.
used it for 4 yrs but hd 2 give it away as we wr relocating.will buy it again.

Some times I feel that the glass jar could fit well to the motor unit. But this does not stop us from using the product, it works well as expected.
I liked walmart's service good, order was placed on wed evening I got the product delivered on Friday, was really surprised that they could deliver by a day.
Overall I would say it's real value for money, worth buying it.

Easy to assemble, use and clean. Average noise of a blender. The glass pitcher is much better than plastic ones of other brands. The processor attachment is a great bonus and adds lots of value.

We bought this to blend fruits and vegetables. The first time we used this one, we were processing some fruit and water when the blender motor broke. We have used Oster blenders and food processors in the past and each time have gotten a few months use out of it; however, I think next time we are getting a different brand. A few months of use does not show a quality product, and breaking on the first blend just confirms that!

I purchased this product 4 years ago... First of all, if you want 'pretty' in your kitchen buy some flowers for your table. This blender does NOT preform the duties as described in the book - eg. iyt doesn't chop ice without leaving lumps. The food processor seized up within 2 years of 'occasional' use (I make hummus - canned chic peas~ come on a FORK can mash then). I bought a new processor for the unit... here it is ONE SUMMER past and it has SEIZED again. Pffft. Save your money and buy TWO PRODUCTS... it will be cheaper in the long run ~ I do NOT recommend this product to my friends - quite the opposite, I discourage them from wasting their money. This has nothing to do with Walmart -only the product!

This is the first blender I have owned in over 10 years. The last blender I had was one of those $10 jobs and I decided I wanted a smoothie one day and as soon as I tried to crush the ice it imploded and the (plastic) pitcher broke. That is the one reason I purchased this blender is because it has a glass pitcher. I have zero complaints about this blender. It grinds ice like it's nothing and it's super easy to clean (most times I just rinse out the pitcher after every use and then let it air dry). I wish my local Walmart had more Oster products other than blenders.

It's near impossible to find anything at Wal-Mart these days that ISN"T made in China. However, this little guy is one of them. It blasts through just about anything I throw at it. Solid metal fitting and a glass carafe are the best features about it.

The blender is fine, but the food processor has not been designed well. The food processor's lid and blade mate with each other, but the connection is either too loose, or it gets clogged up after chopping a few onions. Also, once you are done chopping and try to pour out the onions, the blade falls out along with the food. You end up wasting more time reassembling the food processor, than on chopping food.
The blender is OK, but not powerful enough to make a smooth paste out of fresh spinach. You need to add plenty of water to get it started even.

I purchased this product assuming I could grind chutney's well but was disappointed. Does not grind finely for chutney and moreover requires large amount of ingredients in the jar to arrive at fairly grinding consistency. The food processor does not meet my expectations. Would have been good if the food processor jar was glass.

I have this almost 4 years. I use it hard. It handles frozen fruit and ice with ease. There are no chunks of anything left. I like the fact that the jar is glass. It comes with a food processor that I've also used to grind coffee beans. It's dishwasher safe. It is loud, but works well. Nothing gets stuck under the blade. It also looks good on the counter.
